The scenery, the village, the botanic garden and bird Avery, Glass house Mountains and Mary Cairncross reserve, Maleny cheese factory, Flame Hill Winery, The Barrel Vineyard all make it a perfect escape. Montville is a quaint tourist village with the most breathtaking views of the Sunshine Coast. The people are friendly and it has everything you need. It’s conveniently located to other destinations like Eumundi markets and amazing waterfalls for hiking lovers. Theres plenty of options for a quick coffee or dining out. Poets Cafe was our favourite. It’s a little hilly if accessibility is an issue, but nothing too steep. There’s plenty of public toilets and parking. It was in the heart of Montville, and yet secluded. As the name suggests, we were in the treetops, with a splendid view of the ocean, and could neither hear nor see any other neighbours. There was nothing that we were required to bring; ample breakfast was provided, all toiletries provided, firewood for the fireplace just outside the door, and everything was extremely comfortable inside.
