The only grumble was having to walk around the corner to get back inside again. Good exercise on a fine day but we had one windy evening!

We had drinks in the very stylish bar, lots of atmosphere, cosy and very cleverly redesigned from once being a prison. It was also handy having the shopping complex just a short walk from the reception.

The air conditioning only went as low as 18 degrees which was too warm for me.

Being in the old Pentridge Jail grounds was so interesting. My room was spacious and clean and had an opening window which was great for air circulation. The staff were helpful. Easy to get the train station and the tram stop was just across the road. A small supermarket was near by as well as places to eat.

One of the lifts was out of order for the weekend which lengthened waiting times but that was a minor hitch in the scheme of things

Great place to stay, handy to transport and has all the amenities like a supermarket, cafes, liquor store, brew bar. The history of the place lends to the ambience.

Very handy to tram every 10 mins etc, cinema, Iga and restaurants . Staff and managers very friendly and helpful.loved the history of the location and how it had been preserved so well. Good view from my 1 person studio apartment. I could control the air-conditioning temp. I could open the windows a little bit

The location is such that uber drivers at the airport kept cancelling my rides to the hotel. It was around midnight, and I just wanted to get to the hotel and relax for the night. I eventually had to get an overpriced taxi. Since the hotel is not in a booming part of town, drivers apparently don't want to go there since they won't get another ride after dropping you off.

The staff and breakfast were phenomenal. My room was also great. One of the front desk staff even let me borrow a Myki card, and showed me how to add funds to it. This was great since it prevented me from having to buy one. I returned it to the desk before departing. The pool is also very cool, and I had it to myself.

A few little thinks.. TV's were not originally working, but got that sorted after a while.. and there were still some areas that weren't super clean.

The bed was amazingly!!! comfortable. And the breakfast was so good.

I found the TV remote sound hard to do but git it sorted i really liked it all. I just wish I git to have a swim in the pool and try the wine bar.

I liked my room. Bed was comfy. Shower was excellent pressure. Loved it had a fridge and little kitchenette.
