Dark and dingy, cafe hasn’t been open for months. Could do with good clean. Dust under dirty couch. Jar of lollies found under the couch, so hadn’t been vacuumed. Dark and gloomy around lifts at night.

We were disappointed with the staff member who checked us in upon arrival; he wasn't very supportive to our group. The room we stayed in had some facility issues. The blind or curtain on the window couldn't come down, leaving the window entirely open. Despite seeking assistance from the front desk, the staff member was not very helpful. He repeatedly informed us that he couldn't do much and had already notified the maintenance team. Given that it was night-time and we were all girls in the room, we expected him to at least visit and check on the problem, but he didn't. His body language suggested he wasn't helpful at all. Additionally, the heater in the room wasn't working. The message was relayed to the duty manager the next morning. However, we did find the bed very comfortable, as well as the location.

The staff member named Raj was very friendly and very helpful to our group ( met him on the second day of our stay). However, we had a bad experience on the first day upon arrival with a different staff member who was not supportive. He was a young man, wearing glasses, whom we met on the first day. Even Grace, another staff member, could benefit from training in customer service, politeness, and greeting with a smile.

When we checked in was late in the evening , and we need to get out of the building just to go to the room. They should have a connecting area if the room was separated from the reception area as we have so much luggage to carry. Also the beddings was not in accordance to the number of people we pay. Short of beddings for the sofa bed and towels and coffee and tea no enough supplies. But overall good

Bed was not comfortable at all. Room is tiny. Shower wasn’t working and took 2 days and 3 requests to get it fixed. Noise, omg the noise was off tap, cars, laundry arriving at 6am and they banged everything they could find. The doors, bang closed. Neighbours were so loud going in and out. Yelled at them several times. House keeping just walk in 8:30 am to clean my room on check out, only problem was I had one more day.

Not to much. Maybe the close team stop. Can’t think of anything else

The halls always smelt of rubbish. 3 chairs in a 4 person suite. Bed was too soft and it rolled into the middle. Fridge didn't keep things cool. TV reception was terrible. Lifts regularly didn't work. Fitness centre had lots of broken equipment. Two of three treadmills unsuitable to use. One of two cycles broken. It smelt musty and unclean. Too few bowls in kitchen. Couch was a futon and very uncomfortable. Foyer looked old and in need of some love. Microwave wedged above fridge so door didn't open easily and was quite elevated for anyone short. Small German Cockroaches roaming around the apartment. Rubbish bin is too small for a four person suite with a kitchen.

Room was nothing like advertised, small and kind of creepy looking. Pink bed frame and colourful sheets was odd, like sleeping in a little girls bed. Clerk was oddly slow with checking me in, went around the back with my license to consult a colleague for god knows reason why. This was a bit annoying after a 9 hour journey including a flight from QLD to get there. Needs a face lift, not nearly as glamorous as it is made out to be on booking.com. TV was from mid 2000s with no foxtel or Netflix, it’s 2024 come on guys.

Location was good, for someone visiting the Museum. Short walk away. Aircon was old but effective, really nice and cold.

Room allocated was third floor at the front facing Swanston St - very noisy.I have been a regular there since 2015. It seems I will have to ask when I book in future for a room up higher and at the rear - even if there is a surcharge.

The shower sliding door was off its rails when we arrived, and we couldn't fix it to slide properly. There was no remote control for the air-conditioning, and there were no fans. Reception were advised about the remote control and shower screen. Bedrooms were smaller than expected with the DB bed and SB beds against the walls.

We were able to have an earlier check in. Free Wi-Fi. Location was great for us, being within 15 minutes walking distance to where we wanted to go. Trams were right outside if needed. The apartment had a kitchen with hotplates, sink, kettle and toaster, and a decent size fridge. 2 separate bedrooms with wardrobes, and separate bathroom. A table with 2 chairs plus a couch was fine for the 3 of us.
