Excellent service including after hours transfer to our room from the Accommodation Transfer Service point. Beautiful facilities - lovely indoor pool area, sauna and spa, open late which was great after a long day on the slopes. Breakfast was included and was delicious!

We eventually had to leave.

We were met outside the building and welcomed to Astra. The amenities are fabulous and our room was very comfortable for our week long stay. We ate in house for breakfast and most dinners. Breakfast was included. The dinners we had were delicious and interesting accompanied by good wine. Apart from the spectacular views and location, I think the highlight of Astra is the team that work there. Their service, friendliness and enthusiasm was second to none. They were immaculately presented and worked well as a team.

The sofa bed was uncomfortable and squeaky. The noise coming from the hallway and elevator would wake us early morning and late evening. Ski in/ski out is not possible with little kids given the hilly topography, although the free transfer service worked well and mostly made up for it.

Breakfast was good. The swimming pool was nice and staff was good. The room was good except for the sofa bed.

rooms were a little small with only one small chair. Smart TV difficult to navigate and had to use personal log in for the accounts rather than hotel facilitated. Room heating was too hot. Communication difficulties with some of the international staff.

bed was super comfortable, facilities very clean and well provisioned. great amenities, spa, pool, sauna and drying room with individual lockers. Lovely spa treatments available, with professional staff.

The ONLY thing I didn’t enjoy so much was the pool/spa area. The pool wasn’t as heated as I personally would’ve liked it to be, the spa didn’t seem to be the cleanest and the sauna didn’t actually seem to be working HOWEVER my partner and I had no major issues with this as we had a huge bath tub in our room so we just went back to the room and had a nice bath there instead and this won’t stop us from staying at Astra again :)

All of the staff were amazing including waiters/waitresses and staff from reception and spa. One of the staff actually upgraded our room upon request for something special as it was my partners birthday - this was extremely impressive. Our room was amazing, very cozy as the weather was cold and the quality of the furniture and bathroom was outstanding. The staff’s efforts did not go unnoticed - Will absolutely be coming back to Astra whenever we stay at Falls Creek!

The standard room lacks storage space for luggage and clothes etc but that was really our only complaint. That and having to traipse most places with grumpy kids but I can't blame astra for that one.

Staff were exceptional and everything was immaculate. Would definitely stay again. Restaurant was great but more catered for adults. Complementary transfers to wherever you wanted to go was essential as they're right in the middle of the village between the lower and upper chair lifts. Kids loved the pool room.

Only downside. They seemed a bit disorganised on our last day. After a full day's skiing. Nowhere to get changed. Had to get changed in a hallway. Just a bit disappointing. Apart from that everything else was good.

Most things were fantastic. A luxury lodge. Lovely place to stay.

Good food menu but if you stay more than a few nights it would be could a little more extensive menu to give more variety of choice to the guest staying and wanting to dine in for several nights.

What you would expect for a award winning boutique hotel. Very helpful staff and facilities. Even though there wasn’t good snow to ski in and out the staff made getting to the lifts easily by proving over “snow” mobility to chairlift.

The pool & spa at the end of a days skiing was so good for my legs and kept me skiing for longer than I would have been able to without this facility.

The uphill walk back at the end of the day but this was fixed when we knew we could organise a pick up.

The general atmosphere and people were lovely. An excellent place to finish the day with a substantial breakfast each morning.
