My studio room and bathroom was a bit small (ok for short stay). Only ceiling white lighting (no bedside lamp). No hook in bathroom to hang towels or wet clothing. The after-hours checkin system failed (had hard time to open lock box). First floor via stairs (I think there was no elevators).

Very modern minimalist deco, clean, well equipped unit (microwave, stove, fridge). Comfy bed, great shower. Nice swimming pool with view. Very nice and helpful staff. Close to bars and restaurants.

The only think I STRONGLY didn’t like was that we couldn’t get a park due to the ravces. Parking should be for guests only Undercover was full and patrons parks infront of the hotel so we drove around for AGES trying to find somewhere. Luckily we were only there for 1 night and didn’t have bags…. If you were a traveling couple with bags, having to find a park and then cart your belongings would be very annoying. But I gather that when there is no events on parking would be fine

Our room was on the 3rd floor, no lifts so we had to haul our luggage up a lot of stairs. they took a $100 security deposit that is still pending in my account, other hotels just put a hold on your card, not a pending charge and cancellation that takes a month to get back!

No elevator so going up and down the stairs all the time is difficult for anyone who is not young and fit, it is also very difficult to get luggage to and from your room. Shower is very small....like really small.

The receptionist would not let me use the toilet when we left our bag for the day. There were no twin beds so my son and I had to sleep in the same bed. The receptionist was kind enough to upgrade us to a suite with a bigger bed. The bathroom is really small as is the shower cubicle. There is no lift.

The location was excellent. The suites were tastefully decorated.

As we were on the second floor, a lift would have been appreciated to move suitcases up and down. It would not have been suitable for guests with mobility issues. While there was some secure parking, it was not always available - first in secured a spot. We would have been happy to pay a small fee to secure a spot for the duration of our stay rather than sometimes having to park out on the street. It was however, a pleasant change not to have additional costs.

The location was perfect for our travel requirements as we were visiting family in South Townsville. While we did have access to a vehicle it was within walking distance. It is located at the quiet end of Palmer Street - away from the noise and business of this popular night time dining area but was only a short walk to dine at any number of restaurants. Breakfast and dinner options were available if required. The guest laundry, located on each floor was very clean with modern equipment. It was a very pleasant surprise not to have to load the machines with coins! Pool and gym areas were also clean and well equipped for a holiday stay.

Very tiny shower (especially the opening). Some balconies open into central area and does not feel private. Parking feels a touch chaotic as it wasn'tallocated. TV was glitchy

It was very nosy at night. People dragging suitcases up and down the stairs at 6am due to there being no lift. Also we were backing onto the carpark and that added to the noise levels. As a result I did not get a comfortable nights sleep

Very clean - had all of the necessary facilities that meant we could self cater an evening meal which was nice when we had been on the road travelling all day.
