No power point by the beds.

The reviews are not so good, so I didn't expect much, but I thought this hostel is fine! Enough space in the dorm and big lockers, clean facilities and enough parking spots. It was too cold during my stay, but the pool looks great too.

No lock on lockers; no individual light by bed (only main room light which disturbs others). All hostels should consider changing to Japanese pod style accommodation

Everything was good in general but really noisy. The walls are very thin, and you can hear everything that happens in the rooms. There's shouting and loud music almost every day, so it's not suitable for people who work early and can rest.

I've definitely had better hostels, and for what you pay... The bed was super squeaky which kept me and my other roommates up all night. Didn't get the best sleep. One of the shower doors in the girls bathroom was missing, stuff like that. The people in the hostel were nice though!

For some reason the AC turns off in the middle of the night and sometimes you can’t turn it back on. Some of the staff are very nice and helpful but the manager doesn’t really seem to care about his guests.

The hostel has a very social and friendly vibe and it’s only a five minute walk to the beach.

The beds were not very comfortable and mattress in bunk above me smelt of urine. Also the toilets/showers stank as they didn’t get much ventilation.

The pool and outdoor area was gorgeous and lovely, spent most of my time here.

Apparently a lot of construction is going on site, so the yard looks nothing like in the photos. We didn't manage to catch up with the staff- the check-in happened via text messages, therefore we never got the information on how to connect to wifi. It looked like the hostel is mostly for people who live there long term and there was barely any space in all the fridges for a bottle of drink to store. Small shower and bathroom with even smaller sink.

Huge kitchen with loads of appliances and dishes, but gets busy during the dinner time. Groceries are just a short walk away, free street parking. Clean.

Dirty bathroom, due for an insect treatment. Bins not changed regularly enough in ladies bathroom when I stayed (bad smell from bins). "Long term stay" atmosphere might be why there's not great maintenance here. In the dorm our shelves were broken and the aircon wasn't working.

Friendly staff, 4 bed dorm was laid out well so it didn't feel crammed. Ample storage space in the locker. Kind atmosphere and staff ensured that guests respected the "quiet time" after 10pm, which was considerate. The location is great, easy walk to Kings Beach and beyond, lots of cafes around and Coles/Kmart are across the road. Super convenient. Plenty of street parking (although on the very busy holiday that we visited, the street parking did fill up, it just seems like a rare issue). Friendly atmosphere.

As I stayed for only one night, I couldn't have encountered anything to my dislike.

I didn't have breakfast as I was out early to resume my travels. The hostel itself was great with lively decors and great amenities. I stayed in a 4 person room but was fortunate enough to have it all to myself as I was worn out from travelling so I got a well needed respite The room was neat and clean, the beds were very confortable and supplied with different blankets for comfort preference. Overall the place had a cozy atmosphere with a nice garden and lounge area with a pool table and tv.

Kitchen and fridge too small for so many guests. The Manager is useless, not helpful and has a big fame to propose to girls to stay for free in his room or at the hostel.

the staff was not very welcoming, and there was a lot of mess in the bedroom and corridors. It's not the hostel's fault, but they could be stricter with the visitors about organization.

The best part of the accommodation was the shower; it was very good, and the common areas were great as well. The location is great, there's some supermarkets close to the hostel. There are no sockets near the beds and this is sorely missed.

The WiFi did not kick in immediately, which wasn't convenient. It did work eventually, however. It was very loud far into the late evening, which could be improved in the future if there is a quiet policy past a certain point. We booked as a pair and were separated. We appreciate this sometimes needs to happen, however, we would've preferred a room together.

The location was good. Walking distance from the beach, which was why we stopped over for the night. The kitchen was large with plenty of facilities. There were many communal areas to sit and/relax or socialise. The host allowed us to keep our luggage in the office as we ventured out for the day post check out.
