We were very satisfied. and would come again if we needed accommodation in Hobart It is near family in Rose bay. Directions about the walk were a little misleading, we turned left at the end of the MOTEL DRIVE and went up to the reserve. Maybe add instructions as to how to get across the Tasman Bridge. We had to use a mobile phone.

The bed was roomy and comfortable (my husband sometimes kicks! plenty of parking, chairs, cutlery and crockery, and good directional signs on the approach roads and directions sent by email.

Room was tired and tatty, needs a refurbishment. Wardrobe was a hanging rail in the bathroom which is tatty and needs replacing. Ceiling light in bedroom did not work, entrance hall tatty and worn, floor tiles worm and heavily stained.

Would love to have windows that open as we prefer fresh air to air conditioning. One of us thought it would be nice if there was a small rubbish bin in the bathroom. Information on 'home delivered' meals could be useful, e.g. order in pizzas.

Comfortable, spacious, fantastic view and nice retro feel with very helpful staff. Nature reserve at the rear of the property is great for a bushland walk and at dusk is full of wallabies, an amazing sight for anyone from overseas or interstate.

Access is inconvenient, but I presume this was outside their control when the roads were modified. On the other hand, signage to find it was plentiful. It's a little noisy in "rush" hour.

Manager was arrogant at times rang doorbell (within operating hours) when leaving said put in hole no thankyou for staying hope you enjoyed your stay etc. Don't think he liked that I asked for clean towels on our second day. For 150 dollars a day i Expect clean towels, especially as when the shower goes on it went all over the floor. Inside the room lights did not work rust was on toilet roll holder and a sink was blocked.

That we only stayed one night, I wish we had more time in beautiful Hobart.

I have rated the location as good but that is because we came by car. It really is only a 5 min. drive to the city but without a car I'm not sure how you would get there. We stayed in one of the front units and there was a great view of the city, river and Mt Wellington. It's close to the freeway but with surprising little traffic noise. The rooms are a bit old but very comfortable, it's probably the best value in Hobart. Easy check-in, clean comfortable rooms and friendly staff, what more could you want.

Brekie would have been good, but we had McDonalds 2 mins away..all good. Next time we will be more organised and take advantage of the toaster and microwave, cutlery and crockery provided in the room. The thing we don't like about all motels /hotels even overseas is the size of the cups in the room...mugs better for a big cuppa for tired travellers. We always take our own.

The view is divine. A bit out of the way but very easy to find with all of the signposts. Will definitely make it our Hobart base for future trips. Nice quiet location, comfy bed. Friendly Manager ..Grant! Reasonable price. Good value for money. Table and chairs outside the room to sit for a coffee or beverage and enjoy the view. Glad we found this gem!

There was too much air freshener used. I'm not super sensitive to smells, but this required us to leave the door open until it got too cold. Something to keep in mind for those who may actually be allergic.

Not so much didn't like - more finding the facility was challenging the first time - need full concentration to get right lanes and exits - particularly when GPS is telling you something different.

Location - we required a facility close to venue and this filled the bill. So very specific for us. But really liked the bushland setting and the walking tracks through the adjoining reserve.
