We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

A very handy stopover location. Owners were friendly and had put aircon on for us before we arrived. It was clean and room appeared to have had some upgrades.

AustraliaIf we paid $70 for the night I wouldn’t complain. We paid $200 for the night for a room with Zero hot water in the open air shower. Not even a toilet roll holder. There was nothing in any cupboard or drawer. A broken toaster. That even if it worked, while there were plates, mugs and glasses. No knives to butter your toast? No possible way to wash up your dishes with no dishwashing liquid or cloth? This would have to be the biggest con of a place we have stayed in yet. As a family on a road trip we have booked basic accommodation the entire way, and had zero issues, but had the basic necessities provided, like hot water, knives and forks, and dishwashing liquid! Do not recommend this place. Especially for $200 a night, it’s a dive! If we paid what it was worth, I wouldn’t complain be less likely to complain!! Worth 60-70 a night at best! And that’s being generous!!

AustraliaNot clean, beds uncomfortable, can hear the neighbouring room like they are in the room with you and found it weird that our room was entered but no room service done only knew because we had turned the heater on a medium heat and curtains where closed on return the curtain was open and heater off.
Very cheap compared to most other hotel/ motels in the area over the easter weekend.
