Nothing! All fantastic!

The apartment was spacious and well equipped with super comfortable beds. The location was absolutely perfect (on the beach is right!) and our apartment had stunning views right along the Gold Coast. Karen was an absolute gem and couldn’t have made our stay any more wonderful! We would recommend Dorcester on the Beach to anyone visiting Surfer’s Paradise.

These comments are not dislikes but rathe just observations. Car space was a bit squeezy and one had to be very careful especially with using a rental car - not a major issue. Closeness to the beach has caused some corrosion issues - 1 balcony door was not able to be opened.

View was great with whales passing by! Pool was great and fun with the family. BBQ worked well. Closeness to the beach was especially nice.

Unfortunately next door was a vacant block being readied for a new building. As such the front view to the beach reflected this with portable lights and make shift fencing. We were in apartment 2 (low down) it was visible but it could be ignored- if you were higher up it wouldn't affect your view. Apartment was clean and tidy although a little old and tired. I thought it was more a 4 star than 4.5 star accommodation. I would stay at the Dorchester again but not in that apartment. There was no decent coffee facilities (only instant) which these days in 4.5 star is baseline. Still there is a wonderful cafe at the Langham very close by. Garage is tricky to navigate but I don't think it is as bad as some of the reviews. If you can park, it's not hard. Unfortunately the garage door broke while we were there but Karen had it open and up pretty quickly.

Excellent location, easy to find, close to everything we needed, walking distance to the mall, view out to the water was exceptional. Karen was welcoming and really helpful. Pool was really lovely and BBQ facilities great

The car park was a little tricky getting in but not too bad.

The location - the views spectacular north south, east & west a view out of every window. We could watch the whales from our balcony. The unit itself was very well maintained & equipped. The host Karen was a delight & very helpful on providing us all with the information & tips on the local area.

Wifi didn’t work but not a major issue. I didn’t follow up with Karen because it was only a 3 night stay.

Karen was exceptionally welcoming and accomodating. Beach front location was epic! Heated pool was a bonus in Winter! Hotel perfectly situated for the Hold Coast marathon but we will return again before then. Loved our family getaway T Dorchester.

The room had an odour when we entered as if it was closed for a while. I could see it needed another round of light vaccumming.

The location was extraordinary, quiet and peaceful. Though the nearest supermarket was a good 300-400m.

Wow!! Beautiful, clean apartment with amazing ocean views, with a lovely pool area and walking distance to the beach. Karen was such a wonderful, friendly and helpful manager. We highly recommend Dorchester on the Beach.

Absolutely beautiful location. Close to all the Surfers Paradise action but nice area to have small kids. Full view of coastline was amazing. Apartment was nice and spacious.

Can’t say there was anything I didn’t like enough to mention.

The location was excellent, unfortunately big SUVs don’t fit in the underground parking. But there were cheap parks a block away. Karen’s customer service was outstanding and definitely goes above and beyond to make you comfortable. The view was outstanding and felt like you were almost on the beach when in the living area…it was so beautiful!!

Nothing that really affected our stay but it is an older building and a few parts of our apartment were in need of a tidy up. Karen did explain that the updating is ongoing and it is obvious that this is the case.

The location of the property was excellent, a really good size with magnificent views from all rooms. The beds were very comfortable as was the large leather couch in the lounge. Kitchen was well equipped. The pool area was well maintained and generally quiet with plenty of sunbeds. Although we didn't use it the BBQ area looked well equipped and very clean with comfortable seating for you and a few friends. WiFi was good, both in the apartment and around the pool. Karen the owner/manager was charming and nothing but helpful.

Underground car park is a bit difficult especially for big cars. But that is just the design of the building.

Right on the beachfront, great views over Surfers Paradise . Air con in 2 of bedrooms were a problem but Karen’s husband came up to sort out. Otherwise nothing to complain about.
