The window blind may not provide as much privacy as the curtain. I always felt someone may have a peek in the room from the tiny gap between the window and the blind.

The room decoration is quite modern with a clear style of white furniture. Love the tap of both filtered water and boiling water, which saved time for boiling water in a kettle and was of high hygiene. Besides, the floor heating in bathroom is also satisfying.

Stairs very narrow and quite steep particularly when dragging suitcases. A lift would be handy.

The noise from the street outside (maybe just because it was a Saturday) was horrendous and when the drunken shouting stopped about 5am the street cleaners started 🙁

There was a significant amount of noise from drunks on the street which might keep light sleepers awake.

Location was great for accessing the waterfront and the eating and entertainment areas around Acland Street. I was competing in the St Kilda triathlon and this was an ideal base for the event. The staff went out of their way and met my requirements for parking and packing after the event.

The area is very bad. You will have homeless people and drunken people right outside the door. One came at me with a garbage bag. Generally they were making alot of noice the week I was there. Take the tram and go far away. If you get a room by the streetside, just forget it. The tram will basically feel like it is going through your room and the birds sitting on your bed. New windows and a proper door is crucial for this property. Can't even belive it is allowed in a developed country to have this noice level in an apartment. Even less an commercial property. Doesn't feel up to code. The hotel says non-smoking but your neighbors do and it will affect you so not a very working policy. Breakfast ok. Would never pay 13 AUD they were asking for though. You get toast with poor condiments. Buy it at 7eleven cheaper.

The rooms in themselves were renovated so fresh bathroom and working AC. Male staff very friendly. Female team there not at all helpful.

Really nothing to like, only except no lift, but who knows, could b one installed later,as they have dòne some recent construction work at the rear of the property.

Very well centered in the heart of st kilda close to food and drinks and the park street tram stop. Very good how I got breakfast included in the room rate. One of the best modernish apartments I've stayed for a great price, the rooms are so fantastic. Not so certain if an elevator will b installed, but the staff are so great in helping you with your luggage, going upstairs.

This 'studio apartment' was really a hotel room with a small kitchen, it was however very nice. One thing was the privacy, as the room looks directly out to the corridor you are unable to have the blinds fully open. The hotel should be able to offer a bit cheaper airport transfer service, my taxi cost $70.

The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom was very clean.

The lady on check in was very accommodating, arranged for a late check out the following day which was very helpful. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The air conditioner smelled quite strongly of cigarette smoke unfortunately. Shower was luxurious, but bath mat was saturated afterward as water spills out onto the bathroom floor. Just a suggestion to provide dinner plates as only small bowls and side plates were supplied.

I booked this hotel when I saw it had a 5 star rating on the website, it was not a 5 star hotel, when we arrived at the lobby, it said it was a 4 star hotel, which I also doubt. Firstly, it didn't have an elevator (my partner is pregnant, and she had to climb stairs), You entered the room from a (shared) outside balcony, (which gave us our magnificent views onto the carpark) which was not enclosed so we got wet when returning to the room when it was raining. The lobby was more of a shopfront, which was also the dining area. It was also hard to find, as the signage called it "Easystay" and we were looking for the hotel "Abode"

The room was very comfortable and clean.

There is no lift in the property so this would be an inconvenience if you are carrying lots of baggage. Also, it will be good to have complimentary transport to the city although there is a tram stop right in front of the city which is a good compromise.

    1. The side of the blinds/windows, you're able to peek through a room, although good privacy but more privacy needed in case someone tries to look in your room; 2. in the bathroom the water tends to leak under the shower door due to little hob and therefore needed to be cleaned after showering; 3. very limited parking at the rear building - even though I was given a pass (costs $15 a day to park) there was not a lot of spaces available due to awkward parking spaces.

    1. Comfiest bed with cloud-like quilt and pillows (soft to touch but good support), 2. loved the heated tiles in the bathroom!!!, 3. the shower with rainfall shower head, 4. convenient location in St Kilda and taking the tram was easy to get to the city or nearby suburbs, and 5. the interior and set up of the room (small kitchenette, hidden fridge, good storage and everything from the bathroom to the room itself was modern and updated).
