Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

This is not an issue with the motel. The only problem was that the Glen Roman Hotel is now closed so nowhere to eat in the evening.
A very warm welcome and nice little touches eg., homemade biscuits.

Looking forward to the ground renovations to be completed as it will be very family friendly.
I felt safe and secure and was made to feel welcome along with my medium dog. The room was lovely and clean and very comfortable. The location is very central to town.

Lots of shops in the town were closed.
The motel was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent in being able to walk to everything you need and want to see.

There was some leftover coffee sachets under our bed. Not a big deal but showed that the bed wasn't moved when cleaning.

There was a toaster but no plates or knives to use (or butter etc, but that's on me)
Great spot to stay when attending a Winton Track Day. Room and bed in particular was very comfortable and it was very clean neat and tidy. Burger shop next door was an added and welcome bonus.

You will need to factor in your plans that the town closes around 3 to 4pm. Make plans elsewhere for dinner..

The Motel is well kept, but still shows its age in a few ways; the toilet in our ensuite was a tad wobbly, but secure and worked fine. One of the night lights was blinking, but we just left it off.
This room was exactly what we needed - well located, comfortable, affordable, and super-clean! There was plenty of towels and toiletries, a nice amount of space, the beds were very comfortable, the shower had great pressure and plenty of hot water, and the air conditioner worked a treat. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. There was a great burger/fish and chip shop literally next door - so convenient! We got the good night's sleep that we needed, no stress, no fuss. Thank you!

A set of cutlery in the room would have been handy.
Friendly no-fuss checkin. The room was exceptionally clean, toiletries supplied were appreciated. The jug, toaster, fridge, tea-bags and milk supplied were great, thank you! The shared BBQ outside was great too.

Bathroom dated, but so what. It was perfectly functional, and in keeping with the retro feel of the motel.
Very quick and friendly check in. Parking undercover and very close to the unit. All the facilities you need. Very welcoming of my small, very well behaved dog.

The only couple of things we found was there seem to be a water pipe near our room that made a knocking sound anytime a,toilet or shower facilities were used. Also we thought the property had a pool but no longer has pool facilities due to renovations to the property.. Also the lighting in the room in the room we stayed in we found the lighting a little dim.
Location to the Ned Kelly attractions was in the heart of the town. The room was spacious for our family of 4 and had tea and coffee and toaster facilities. All in all a lovely clean and nice place ro stay for a night or two. Lovely touches of biscuits. Very good property and value for money.

Mattress was comfortable but quite saggy with two in it.
Good stop between Sydney and Geelong. There are some new rooms going in which look lovely for next time.

This motel is not a 5 star establishment, so don't have great expections. However the management were fabulous. You can't manufacture this type of customer service, enjoy your stay.
Older motel but very comfortable, check-in staff easy, most helpful and obliging. You can't get much better than that.
