We booked 1 night in the restaurant downstairs in the lobby. The food was cooked to perfection and there were no issues, however it was twice the price of any other restaurant where you could get the same food.

Extremely spacious room with all the required amenities. Location was perfect if you want to be in the centre of the city surrounded by expensive handbags, shoes and jewellery. If you don't, still stay here, just don't bring the girlfriend/wife. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but it was clearly an option if you wanted it.

Pricey. But, given a luxury hotel, i Guess this was to be expected. A special night away.

Great location - close to Margaret Court Arena where we attended a concert, walking distance. Great view from room. Very comfy bed and pillows. I usually take my own shampoo and conditioner but this time used what was provided. The Balmain products were so good, I'm buying this shampoo and conditioner myself. There could have been handwash provided in bathroom - only the wash in the shower.

I couldn't finish something I started to eat for breakfast (a piece of cake) and asked for a container to take it to my room. However, I wasn't allowed to do that. In my opinion, what a waste! As a recommendation it would be good if guests were allowed.

Staff - Ruben (waiter during breakfast) was friendly. Craig (at the main desk) was very helpful. The Porter and room service given added that little touch. I enjoyed using the gym facility!! Our Room 2119 had to corner views of the city. I liked the round table and sofa lounge where we could sit, relax and enjoy the magnificent view.

Had trouble with taps in shower very hard to get right mix awful too complain but was too hot. Rooms are a little dated maybe spend a bit update tv selections unable to find movies I know should be out but when travelling alone I don’t venture too far at night.

Staff were fabulous food excellent room was quiet great view easy check in room service prompt and very happy staff. Room service attendant first day set table for me what a nice touch as I was very tired. Spa in room with bombs used it everyday after walking many miles around melbourne

It was quite noisy. We were woken several times by doors slamming, other guests using their toilets and showers, and what sounded like the wardrobe and coat hangers next door. Slightly dated in terms of the tech in the room (curtains, lighting, power points etc)

It felt stuffy in the room, it was hard to get the air temperature right and although location was in the heart of the city, the night life was kind of dead.

Have been several times. It’s always our go to as it’s well located in the city. This time it was close to the MCG for us to walk to our concert. Breakfast buffet is definitely one of our favourites! Rooms are luxurious and very comfortable.

Very thin walls in the hotel, woken up by someone sliding coat hangers in their wardrobe. The breakfast restaurant extractor fans mustn’t be working properly. The lobby and breakfast restaurant would fill up with smoke from cooking. The pool area wasn’t very inviting.

Patrick, the young bloke at Valet Parking was absolutely rude, blunt at any response to my questions and disrespectful. He was at no stage interested in helping me find a solution to parking my brand new vehicle that didn’t meet the height requirement. However, Daniel the DM was an absolute delight and came to the rescue and offered me an alternative parking solution. He saved the day and I was very grateful.

On arrival we were told we had been given a room upgrade as we were on our honeymoon and there was a complimentary bottle of sparkling waiting for us. The view was awesome and the bed very comfortable. You can't beat the location. The service in the restaurant was excellent! We will definitely be staying here again.

No body wash and hand wash liquid in the bathroom.Had to use shower gel from the shower.

very costly, but that was expected being in the middle of Melbourne. We went away from the hotel for food and drink as it was too expensive, however, there are plenty of options in Melbourne for all tastes.

well situated for our trip to Melbourne. was easy to walk everywhere from the hotel. Room big enough to be very comfortable, with lots of extra things to make our stay happy. Nicely appointed and great view.
