Dirty towels, we were told that room service (changing bed sheets and cleaning the trash -kitchen and bathroom-, also vacuuming the rooms) wasn’t provided for a 2 nights reservation and this was weird because the trash was loaded by the time we left and we were told when we were confirming the reservation that the bed sheets will be changed the next morning and they weren’t. So the cleaning aspect of the rooms was a bit annoying and we were extremely unsatisfied with it.

Spacious rooms, great location where you can hear the waves at night but not a great view (which was still acceptable), we also had some cockatoos in our balcony on our first and last mornings.

Large work utes allowed to park in the bays leaving 30 cm of space to try and get in and out of your car making it extremely difficult if you are aged or have back problems.

Kitchen utensils not clean, kitchen switch for hot plate Brocken and potential unsafe, toilet paper supplied not sufficient for length of stay.

It was pretty good overall nothing much to dislike, perhaps a bit of noise from nearby pub as you would expect in built up area and centrally located accomodation

Kitchen equipment was incomplete - no knives for food prep, no salad bowl and despite 2 hot plates, ZERO pots or pans! Just as well I hadn’t planned to cook! No microwave-safe bowls/containers for use there either. Neighbouring pub was UN-neighbourly early on Saturday with rubbish collection, and bar staff have a bad habit of emptying out the “dead marines” into bins after 11 pm most nights and/or mornings. Pity, because the meals there are great and the staff are great servers. Until the spa leak in 104 is fixed, (it has damaged the wall and flooring beside the bed!), please don’t indulge yourselves in it. Seems this is/has been a problem in other units too!

Nice studio with outlook across to the beach - just! Comfy bed, room to move and a nice balcony too. Lovely wine glasses to share a drink - wine, beer or bubbles.

Our apartment (101) did get some early morning noise from lorries delivering to the Lorne Hotel, which is located next door. The recycling truck collecting glass bottles was a bit much. Watch out for the cockatoos, which fly onto the balcony rail. Not cute!

Adam, the manager, was tremendously helpful. So many great suggestions about how to get the best out of being in Lorne. The studio apartment was perfect for our needs. There was a fantastic view of the beach. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great. Easy parking just outside the room.
