Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was exceptionally clean and furnished with high-quality materials. It was large and spacious, providing plenty of comfort. The spa in the bathroom was fantastic. Anne and Peter were very friendly and welcomed us warmly, providing all the necessary instructions. The breakfast was lovely, and we especially enjoyed the homemade biscuits Anne made. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. When we ran into difficulties with our car, they went above and beyond to help us, offering assistance to get us back on track. Their attention to detail and personalized service truly set this place apart. Wonderful variety for breakfast and Anne's cookies were delicious. The cozy atmosphere made it a perfect getaway. We can’t wait to return!

Maybe a few hooks in the bathroom to hang clothes.
Breakfast provisions very generous. Providing lactose free milk was awesome. The selection of jams were delectable. The homemade cookies were the highlight! Very yummy and crispy. Fruit platter was really good too with some very plump strawberries. The towels were luxurious. Space was very good. We were also lucky to have the lounge to ourselves as we were the only guests by chance.

The host was amazing and so welcoming. Anne and Peter showed around everything in the room and lounge area. The room was full of comfort and amenities with breakfast option included. It had heated mattress option with jacuzzi to enjoy.

Disliked · Nothing it's great. But....if I was super picky, maybe a small shelf above the fridge to hold all of the supplies they provided😊.
The hosts were great, helpful and very friendly. We were greeted with a very generous fruit platter and the Continental breakfast supplies were awesome, I don't know why people commented on this as it was over the top with lots of little extras. The large bedroom and en-suite was fantastic with a double spa-bath and big shower. It was very private considering we were in a B&B with a private veranda. We definitely recommend it.

It would have been nice to have something a little more fancy for breakfast, something like croissants for example.
The host Ann was great, very friendly and makes excellent cookies. Beautiful and peaceful garden with pond and fish, made for a lovely place to enjoy your morning coffee, or wine in the evening.

Everything was great. Very small thing was the coffee machine leaked water when I used it so just in case anyone else is using it.

We were made very comfortable and the hosts were extremely obliging. Ann and Peter made gluten free choices available and even baked me GF scones which were delicious, and provided GF recipes for me to enjoy in the future. It was secluded but in walking distance to beaches and restaurants and easy drive to Cowes. Would definitely come back.
