The air conditioning system seemed very outdated could use with an update maybe?

The beds were comfy. Great view of the lake and the staff were very friendly and also very helpful! We had a few things we needed help with and they didn’t hesitate to go above and beyond. They were able to source transportation to and from a local concert for us also!

On arrival at 5:30pm we waited 20+ minutes for someone to inspect the room before we could check in. This meant we missed the start of our function upstairs that started at 6pm. The kettle in our room didn’t work and we couldn’t call down to front desk so had to go down to ask for another. We were told they would bring one right up. We had to go remind them 40 minutes later and were then brought another kettle growing some sort of black mould inside.

The staff were nice.

There was rubbish under the bed, aircon didnt work properly, they said I could use my bond to pay my parking. They took the money out of my card and ended up paying bond back.

The swimming pool and spa, staff were lovely.

Room service food was average. Ordered a bottle of wine but received an open bottle which had obviously been topped up. Not what I’d expect when paying $60 for a local $20 bottle of wine.

Obviously the mercure side seems to be more budget than the Pullman side. But even then would’ve bee. Great for them to refurbish the Mercure side. Carpet was very outdated, room was also outdated along with the bathrooms. Just everything needs to be updated.

We really liked the fact that it was literally across the street to Albert Park where we went to the formula 1. Super close to the CBD. Stay was comfortable.

After a huge day of swimming at MSAC, my daughter and I ordered room service to make things easy (have stayed here before and did the same), but it was quite a mess. Money taken out, no order received. Eventually I had two men arrive at our room asking to see the sure I’d ordered it from (it was correct) and I showed them the money already taken out. It was lovely that they apologised and told me that the order would be reimbursed due to the inconvenience. This never happened.

Kept closing bar too early. Was at a conference and each time the 400pkus ppl would finish and go for a drink they close the bar. It’s not hard to look at your events and staff properly They lost a lot of money due to poor staffing. Also, coffees in the morning were unbelievably slow every day. Very poor

Air conditioning struggled in my room, to stay cool even when out on the lowest setting. Size of coffee cups in bed room were too small for me.

Breakfast was good. Wish that the juice and coffee cups were bigger. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable.

Bedside tables had not been wiped down, you could see spills on the surface.

The air conditioning in the room was faulty and it was a hot weekend. 35*+ Ordered Breakfast room service, ordered eggs your way on toast. Asked for scrambled eggs - well done - and they came up runny and almost cold.

Price of the room was good (though we booked in advance) and the room was clean and very spacious.

There was no air-conditioning or even a fan in the room! Made the room very hot and stuffy. Especially in 38 degree heat and got quite uncomfortable to sleep in.

Location was good, we stayed at this hotel because that's where the event was being held. Close to a couple takeaway shops that I was able to walk to!
