Lifts were incredibly slow and one lift for the whole 3 day stay wasn't working stuck on level 14. Also found it quite frustrating that the disabled lift to get to swimming pool not working considering there were guests booked in that couldn't access the pool or spa area.

I would RATHER like a bathtub rather than the shower. BTW, the shower doors wouldn’t close well n floors obviously got very wet n slippery.

What matters to travellers are ease of check-in, forthcoming help when needed, comfy n cosy stay… with a good location, Meriton Campbell street had it all. Amenities … coffee, tea, etc served the stay well.

Only the noisy aircon. Nothing to dislike about other than that.

Excellent location, staff and service. Only thing is the indoor aircon (Room 3403) was noisy with intermittent rattling sound. Did not complain because we don't want to make a fuss.

Very little. Just the lifts were a bit frustrating. Good if you got the middle one - however it stopped working and the other 2 are slow. Especially the one right of middle which would take 15+ seconds at each stop for the doors to open. Even if you pressed the open button. But that was just a nuisance and overall everything else great.

Modern, convenient location and apartment amenities. Quiet (we were up high though). Pool and spa. Comfortable bed. Staff friendly and approachable. Light rail just metres away and Capitol Theatre right across the road. Lots of good dining options in a small radius.

We found the shower very awkward to get in and out of, no hand towels were provided. The lounge was very close to the tv and not comfortable.

Bathroom tap was extremely loose and kitchen sink plug was extremely leaky. The tap had to be kept running so as there was enough water to wash up. We reported it to reception upon checkout.

For some reason the aircon stopped working on my last morning, which didn't affect my stay really as I was checking out. I forgot to mention it to the staff when I checked out. I loaded the dishwasher to set it to cycle as I was leaving to save cleaning staff a job, only to find that all of the control buttons were damaged beyond use (someone had vandalised them). I mentioned this to staff at check out so they understood there were unfortunately dirty dishes in the dishwasher. Overall this will be my first choice for return trips to Sydney CBD.

Very large rooms. I like the option of preparing my own food when I travel, even if it's just buying a box of decent cereal and some milk so I don't have to worry about sorting breakfast or waiting in a cafe, or a knife and fork to eat takeaways with. I really appreciated basic kitchenware for this! The bed was comfortable. The check in staff were polite and very helpful when storing bags. The gym was in good condition. Perhaps towels at the poolside could be helpful (I went late at night so they may have been there earlier in the day) but brought my own anyway just in case. Location was very close to the station, reasonably easy to walk there with a suitcase.

I cannot think of anything that I did not like about this property.

Everything was great From check-in to check out. Ishtar at the front desk was very helpful to me in trying to help me download some off-line maps to use while I went around the city. The room was sparkling clean the location of the hotel is great. The amenities in the room were beyond expectation. They had everything I needed as far as utensils cookware, even some dishwashing liquid with a scrubber and of course some laundry detergent as well. I was very happy with everything. I had read comments that some of the showers leaked water out onto the floor and I found that a bit, but with being careful as far as the placement of the shower door and not having it run full blast, that was a very minimal issue. the supplied hairdryer was great and I just had a wonderful time and cannot think of anything negative

Nothing I didn’t like . Just one thing to comment on. The shower was obviously designed for tall people. Had to stand on tiptoe to reach the shower head to adjust direction. ( I am 163 cm)

Beautiful apartment, everything looked brand new. Comfy bed. Excellent location, near World Square and so close to light rail stop at Chinatown. Walking distance to darling Harbour .

Our room view was of other high rise buildings :( The showers were not operating in the pool room. Upon arrival took the lift along with a cleaning staff member with very strong / unpleasant body odour.

The room was very well appointed and comfortable. Location was great for commuting around the city and connecting with trams and trains. Loved the pool and spa. Staff were friendly and helpful.

There were a couple of small things that I noticed and because of these things I'm not sure If I would book in again. 1, The toilet paper was 1ply, could've been 2ply at least 2, There was a fire drill on our first night the instructions and procedures following this were unclear. The staff didn't seem to give clear instructions on what was happening or what we should be doing. I felt that the situation around that was handled poorly. 3, I went for a swim in the indoor pool which was nice apart from it being a little cold. However the heated pool was quite noticebly dirty. 4, I wasn't sure if there was a place for us to dispose of dirty towels or bathmats. 5. Our tap in the bathroom was wonky and broken (coming out of the hole it should be screwed in on) 6, The shower in the bathroom was a terrible design. Everytime we had a shower the whole floor would get soaking wet.. we tried our best to clean it up after each time we used it but it soaked through bathmats and towels quite quickly. 7, The silver plate on the toilet roll dispenser kept coming off.

The staff were friendly and the room was comfortable and cozy. It was a good location with the light rail right outside. The bathroom amenities (shampoo and conditioner body wash was good) the tv provided in the room was great we enjoyed being able to stream whatever we wanted from our phones. Really liked your English breakfast tea aswell. Checking in and out of the hotel was seamless and easy.
