The rooms are in need of a revamp, the air-conditioning system needs attention, it is leaking and has inconsistent temperature regulation. The parking lot is a very poor design and very stressful to get in and out of, so much so that we decided to park on the street. The best thing about the Hotel was the location and being across the road from the Newport pub.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location was very convenient and the view from the room was beautiful.

The air-conditioner was quite noisy, so we ended up not using it.

The room was very clean, fresh and spacious. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and we enjoyed using the spa bath. The location was great with good food nearby and lots of things to explore in the local area.

The hotel is dated and could do with some TLC. Also getting down to the pool is an effort, I had 2 small children and the back stairs were a nightmare.

Staff were not very friendly, was told prior to arrival we could get early check in and when i ask the day prior and also on the day they said no we will call you at 2pm when room is ready, which unfortunately didnt work for us as we had a wedding to attend and the check in time was the time we were getting picked up in the bus. The Air con was great but leaked all over the floor and we had to set up towels so it didnt wet the carpet to much. (this is just to help the mirage out, wasn't an inconvenience but just wanted to point this out)

That we couldn’t check in before 2pm and I had to shower in the pool showers and lug my gear up and down multiple flights of stairs. We missed the bus that was organised to take us to a wedding because we had to wait until 2pm to checkin to our room. Our door kept getting stuck. It was hard to open and close. I was told by the checkin staff that I should have gotten ready for the wedding before I arrived.

It was cheap. They set an ironing board up In the conference room for all the people that needed to get ready for a wedding. I was able to use the shower facilities near the pool.

Property was very dated and in need of a complete renovation. Parking was also limited to a small car. SUV’s wouldn’t fit.

The property is ina lovely area, near the water, across the road from the Newport arms and a short walk to a cafe and convenience store. Staff were very helpful and courteous.

The AirCon did not work and had no fan. Ran out of warm water very quickly. The parking was ridiculous.

Air conditioning didn’t work. Had to leave doors open to get air in. There was a pedestal fan that was pretty ineffective. Fan in bathroom didn’t work which made the room warm and smelly.

The property is run down and is in need of maintenance . There were tiles missing from The external stairs to the pool which potentially is a trip hazard . The spa needs resurfacing.

The fact that youths using foul language and were drinking beer had direct access to the pool. Several people were deterred from swimming there; restaurant not open until last day of our stay. No jug in room for cold water; freezer overloaded with ice.
