We had 5 adults and were provided with a trundle bed. Sadly there was no extra pillow or blanket for this bed. There was one extra doona (no cover) that was mouldy so was unusable. The staff member checking us in tried to charge more for the trundle bed even though I had corresponded with the hotel previously to ensure the trundle bed was part of the cost for the booking for 5 adults. Luckily I still had the correspondence and she didn’t charge us. The sheer curtains in the bedroom either a balcony were ripped and had what looked to be blood marks on them. There was only one small air conditioner in the lounge so to get cool in the bedrooms you had to leave to door open and turn the fan on. Some of the light fittings looked badly installed or broken.

It was a great location. Close to the venue where we were attending a concert and close to shopping and dining. The view from the 38th floor was fantastic too and it was a long way from the noise at street level. The was a full size fridge, oven, gas hot plates, a microwave oven and dishwasher.

The smell of our room had a smell of cigarette smoke which was very uncomfortable for myself and the air conditioner needs to be cleaned.

The price for the location and the apartment were exceptional and the apartment had what we needed for our stay.

The main reason I gave the lower score is because of the noise from the river rail crossing and while it might not have worried everyone it did annoy us and I feel it should have been mentioned on the booking site.

Bathrooms need updating. Lots of mould in the silicone and grout. Whole place needs a paint as there is pain chips and door seals degrading.

It's was really good. It even has windows that open!!! Do not believe the negative reviews on Google or whatever. I nearly cancelled my booking twice because of them. It is not a 5 star property but it has everything you need. Beds comfortable shower hot and good pressure. Yes it's a bit worn but it is what it is. I was so scared I was going to be charged for paint chips and scuff marks I called reception and took a million photos...none of that was true. The reception was lovely, and its close to everything. The whole of Brisbane is under construction and its a sea of fluorescent orange and yellow. Despite this I had a good night sleep and the reaction was amazing. I can only talk about my room but everything was amazing. I'm so glad I stayed.

The carpet definitly needed upgrading, there was metal protruding through the carpet from the hallway into the kitchen. Not a big section but enough to stick sharpely into my bare foot. Also i had to gain access to the bedroom from the balcony as the door had been locked shut before I arrived.

The bathroom was dated and showing its age. Cracked laminate bench. Chrome fittings worn or dented. Lighting is harsh cold white. Not relaxing. Floor lamp rusting. Laundry door broken. Entry door damaged.
