Whilst the room was very good, clean, and looked after, perhaps an update would be a good idea and suitable since there's the new, two towers across the road and more new construction happening.

Location was super excellent. The view was stunning. It was my Son's birthday, and the beautiful staff had put ballons and chocolates for him, a delightful surprise, and very thoughtful!!! They went above and beyond for him. We loved it!!! Thanks so much, our deep appreciation to the staff!!!

Construction work made access to areas in resort a bit challenging- very easy to get lost

My original room smelt like mildew and mould. On closer inspection, this is exactly what I could see. The doors clearly hadn't been opened in that room for quite some time. I asked to be moved since the smell was quite overpowering, and I could see visible mould. I was moved to another room, which smelt better and given some breakfast vouchers. Both rooms had embedded dirt around the edges of carpet, soap scum & mould/mildew in bathrooms, wardrobe frame dirty with visible rubbish on the bottom tracking, chair at desk had built up dust on it. I stepped on some sort of chocolate food on the carpet. It's clear cleaning is a rough wipe down of easy to do spots only and change the sheets. The kitchenette in each room was kitted out differently in terms of kitchen tools, cockery, and cutlery. After moving to the second room, I felt like I was originally allotted the worst room in the whole hotel that only gets used if the place is full. But of course there were other rooms. The second room was slightly better. This hotel is a bad look for the Mantra brand.

Great location to some of the most beautiful beaches on the Gold Coast. The breakfast had a wide variety of food on offer. Kitchenette was ok, although my original room was not equipped the same as the room I ended up moving to. Pools were nice, especially nice to have a large enough outdoor pool to do some laps. Views were ok on the harbourside. Gym ok, free weights would be a good addition. The room was a holiday size with a great balcony.

Staff at breakfast were so lovely. Don't remember her name but she was a grandma with 18 grand kids, including from a second marriage to a Pacific Islander man. She was gorgeous, if you can pass that on to her.

Great location as lots right on your doorstep from restaurants and supermarkets to taverns and the beach just a short walk away. Very clean and a variety of amenities to suit everyone.

The pool was fairly dirty, the filter must not have been working, all the sunscreen from everyone was in one corner of the pool, plus the lane rope was painfull to get under to get in the deeper part and to get out again, not everyone is agile.

The Resort was in a fantastic location, great to be able to just walk through to the Twin Towns Club.
