Tacky so tacky

A member of cleaning staff took upon themselves abuse me for taking the shampoo and conditioner told me I broke the holders (I did not) then told us we trashed the room and left it in a state. Little did this horror know id had a severe asthma attack that morning and couldn’t lick the dishes clean for her in time for check out. Pity them in life if that small small small inconsequential things razed her soooooo much.

I'm an Aussie battler, a bit rough on the edges and was treated like a second class citizen, I wasn't given the room I booked in main hotel I was made stay in a part no where near the main hotel.. there was no mention of cash bond until I was seen and met with a disgusted look.. be a nice place to stay if you have had an easy life

I was put in the building across from the main hotel. It has a very dodgy looking door for an entrance. There is an industrial garage next door that has an alarm that goes off when it is used and it is used continuously throughout the night. Then the bells at the post office ring on the hour all night and then on the quarter hour from 6am. It is a nightmare if you want to sleep because both of these things will keep you awake. Then there is the cleanliness, the couch in the lounge has dust mite that bite as soon as you sit down. Quest would be best to sell this property as it lowers its brand.

It is in the middle of town.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

The receptionist Sue was excellent. She went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The rooms are well appointed with everything you need for a short or longer stay. The location is perfect for city shopping or to get to all tourist destinations.

Parking. Good grief. None available at the hotel address, so had to walk 2 blocks to a carpark, we found this very inconvenient!!!!!!

There is a clock tower 60 meters away. It chimes extremely loudly EVERY FIFTEEN MINUTES. I barely got any sleep. Not all the rooms are in the heritage building in the nice picture. Some are over the road in a bland old building, that's where mine was (I wasn't aware of this at time of booking). Directly outside is a major bus transport hub. Very noisy. Between that and the clock tower, well.... :( Heater in the bedroom didn't produce any heat even though the 'on' light was active.

We had a car full Of luggage, nowhere to park and unload. We ended up Having to get other accommodation it was so busy and stressful. Great if you had no car though

Windows in the room don't open, so no fresh air. Additional $27 for parking seems a bit steep. We actually managed to park nearby (less than 100m) for free from after 6pm and before 8.30am. After that time there are metered on street car parks and also multi story undercover car parks in the area for much less than what the hotel will charge.

Right in the centre of town. The bath tub, and use of the common laundry facility were appreciated after returning from a multi-day hike. However, the tumble dryer seemed to be pretty useless. The room was large with full kitchen facilities. The lady at reception when we checked in was lovely and perfect for that type of role.

We were in an apartment across the road from the main hotel. We had to climb narrow steep stairs with our suitcases. There is a bell tower next to this accommodation which rings through the night and disturbed our sleep.

It was clean the room was large and had everything we needed. It had a very comfortable bed. The location is in the centre of town, and he’s very convenient
