Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Car parking was available, but at extra cost which was a bit pricey.
Comfortable and quiet. Having a kitchen was very helpful. The pool was very welcome on a hot day although can get a bit crowded when children are about. The location is supurb with everything so close by - beach, parks, shops, restaurants, walks, events. St Kilda has it all! Excellent public transport provided by extensive tram network nearby - in particular to local markets such as South Melbourne and Victoria Markets.

Parking is 25 AUD per night. Need to pay 200 AUD bond upfront - though returned promptly. Notwithstanding the dryer, a drying rack for laundry would be helpful. Some room details, esp. in bathroom and kitchen, are starting to show wear and tear.
Returning visitors. Stayed three nights. Smooth check-in. Good facilities, incl. well equipped kitchenette. Comfortable lounge and bed. Good hot shower. Washing machine and dryer. Housekeeping. Paid parking underneath. Handy to St Kilda sights, and transport to Melbourne.

A non-stick frypan would be greatly preferred over stainless steel so eggs dont stick
Location was perfect for easy access to the Melbourne F1 GP, well serviced by nearby trams, with easy access from/to the Melbourne CBD. Also close proximity to St Kilda Beach, the main St Kilda strip (Acland street), and the lively Fitzroy street. Good water pressure for a strong shower stream.

Nothing really. The toaster didn't work, but the staff gave us a new one. A mere hiccup in the rich tapestry of life.

I was surprised that there was only 1 aircon in the main living area. No aircon or fans in the bedrooms. Lucky it wasn't a hot evening.
The accommodation was close to everything. The room was clean and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

The spare bed we were given was really uncomfortable

The shower was tiny and bathroom exhaust reverberated into 2nd bedroom. Also 2nd bedroom was unable to be made up into a double bed. Hard bed and pillows.
Easy check-in during business hours. Discount voucher for local cafe. Held luggage FOC until flight.

I would have loved a tv in the bedroom as well, however overall the room met my expectations.
This was a very neat and tidy room with a separate living space. I loved the kitchen facilities and there was a gym and pool onsite (bonus). The location was fantastic and the room was quiet which made the stay enjoyable.

Shower head wasn't very good, came unscrewed. Didn't know there was a festival on in the area with all roads closed so we could not get out when time to leave.

Valentine's Day, Taylor Swift and the upcoming St Kilda Festival meant lots of young people in-house. Noise curfews were ignored and management only responded after complaint calls were made.
Quest apartments Bayside St Kilda is a 20 minute tram ride to the Melbourne CBD and walking distance to the Port Philip Bay beaches and Acland Street Village.

I was on the ground floor not far from the reception and could hear the comings and goings but it was not that bad. The room could have been a bit larger.
The property is located in a quiet street, close to the beach, shops and transport. It‘s modern, quiet, clean and the staff are friendly.
