Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

More of a motel feel, food in restaurant was average. Nowhere near beaches and main tourist areas of Hervey bay, have to drive to these locations

I did not know that we were going to get a room on the 1st floor - would have preferred ground floor but was not asked at the time of booking for a preference - that would have been nice as we are not as young as we used to be. When we came back to the hotel at 11.30pm there were no parks in the secure parking - we had a large amount of very expensive music equipment in our vehicle and had to park it unsecured on the street - would be nice to be able to reserve a parking spot
The room was great - comfortable bed and a seat in the shower - lovely

Dated bathrooms and overall decor
Proximity to the Marina and walkable distance to the Pier. Rooms are spacious and quiet, comfy bed and surprise with the free movies included.

Restaurant food was nice, but all engagement with staff was very rushed. It was the Easter long weekend.
The pool was lovely, and quite large with nice separated areas for children. Secure underground parking (limited) with plenty of on street parking. Our room was a good size with everything we needed. The receptionist staff were fantastic, particularly Montana, who was friendly, efficient and professional at all times, regardless of how busy.

Rooms need updating. The outdoor furniture needs replacing .Car parking is an issue when hotel is full.
Great location fantastic staff. Swimming pool is excellent and great that you can go from your room to the pool.

The biggest negative of the whole stay was the food in the restaurant was honestly awful. It was very expensive for what you got and very badly done. One night we ordered room service for the kids and it was a very long wait and not great when it arrived. And they sent the wrong things up. The "Free welcome cocktail" was honestly terrible and a waste of our time. The drinks in general were horrendous. I will happily pay top dollar for a cocktail, but the drinks we paid for thinking there would be an improvement were cheaply made, badly executed and quite pricey would not recommend the dining unless they get a new chief and bar staff. I honestly got some very odd, over priced food that was just bad.
We could see the water and the island from the balcony. We liked the room, however there were not enough pillows and they were not very good quality. The bed and room overall were great for a family, a big space. The room was neat and tidy and the cleaning of the room was done well, every day we were there. On the downside the bath broke while we were using it. The staff did come however it was over an hour wait but this was a Sunday night and they were very friendly fixing it. The pool is beautiful and warm, the kids loved the spa in the pool area. A great space for everyone. The sofa bed for the kids was not set up to spite us putting them on the booking. It would have been nice if it was ready to go for the kids, as we had called the hotel to let them know we would be a late check that day in due to an accident on the highway. We booked x2 rooms and my Mum and her partner were very happy with there's. Be advised if you are wanting to walk around town you will need to drive. We however were very happy with the dining options around the marina. It was a great location for the tour to K'Gari! We also did a boat trip out of the marina and that was amazing, you can walk to the marina and that made it very easy for us.

disappointed with food advertised at Smokey Joes' Restaurant. Rib Fillet didn't appear to be Rib Fillet and seafood topper advertised Moreton Bay Bug meat but we got mussels instead which we hate and would not have ordered that meal. Music in Smokey Joes that night however was amazing.
Room was nice, pool was good and didn't eat breakfast there so can't comment on that.

Comfortable, spacious and clean apartment and they kindly let us have early check in and late check out. Staff were helpful. Nice to be near Esplanade walk and harbour restaurants but need a car to get to shops.

The restaurant menu has scope for improvement. Being an ocean coast resort, the seafood menu is very limited. Also given there are flying in guests, restaurant should be open at least till 9 pm. Breakfast choices should also be introduced rather than the $25 ‘All you can eat’ menu.
Value for money. Comfortable stay.

Room was not comfortable, it was partially in the basement, the window was small. The bathroom wasn’t comfortable as well. The whole place felt run down. The parking was almost to park.

The restaurant was closed so we could only use the room service option or sit outside with our meal. So there was not much atmosphere. The bathroom vanity space was very limited and the shower was over a very deep bath which meant access was not easy.
Location was good, the suite was spacious and well equipped. Clean and comfortable. Ample parking.
