The apartments are very compact and the doors for the bedrooms are paper thin.

Location - right on Kind Beach esplanade. There is a coffee shop below and nice restaurant with lovely views of the beach.

The 2nd room wasn't quite big enough for the 3 kids but we made it work. The trundle was quite uncomfortable for the bigger kids but was ok for the littlest one

Clean, comfortable, location was great and it had all the facilities we needed. The kids loved the pool.

Beds were poor or old and very uncomfortable it made sleeping difficult; lounge area was adequate for 2-3 people but does not accommodate 4 adults at all. Lacked soft furnishings but quite basic; Oven was old and did not function very well. We still like to do some of our own cooking and we stayed for longer than a few days so needed to use oven. No additional blankets or rugs. Allocated only one towel each so towels had to be dried in the dryer between uses.

Excellent location close to cafes and beach; kitchen was fitted out with necessities; decent size fridge; good washer and dryer; spa bath was nice; dining area was good; roof top terrace was excellent and had a good BBQ.

Apartment not serviced during our 4 night stay, or any stay of less than 8 days, which we hadn't realised beforehand. It wasn't a problem, but it was just different from other apartment hotels we have stayed at. We will simply be more prepared next time we stay 😊

The location is great, right on the beach. Cafes on site. We checked in after hours and it was an easy process, staff were lovely. Hiring boogie boards for the start for $5 was an awesome option. Pools were lovely and clean and not super chlorinated which was lovely.

Location of our unit was lovely, with a courtyard and the being able to see the ocean from this location was beautiful. Coffee shop downstairs was wonderful, short walk to the town.

We have never stayed anywhere like this before and not sure if it’s worth the amount we paid for the 2 weeks . So it’s not that we didn’t like the property .

It’s close to everything so you can walk to most places to dine out . The beach is virtually at youre doorstep . It was lovely and clean

Friendlier staff on reception If staying longer than a couple of days (in my case a week) replace the towels, replenish toilet paper, bin bags, dishwasher liquid etc

The lift was down on day 1 made it slower to get my gear to 3rd floor as the unit was using 1 lift. These things cant be helped the next day it was up and running again.

The master bedroom TV didn’t work. And the guest room blind bracket feel down which frightened us for a minute.

Manager was not friendly as it was our first time staying there asked me to sign above - no wild parties, even though we are in our seventies, also had to write names who was actually staying there and no smoking etc. have stayed at hotels all over the place and you only to look at the people who are staying to know whether they are ok. Also we were locked out the first night and were told no managers were on site but of course they didn't answer their phone it said we were calling outside of hours so we had to call an emergency number which took ages, Manager couldn't care less when we told her.

The beds in our unit were seriously uncomfortable and really need to be replaced. It was like sleeping on a rock on all three. It was also hard to sleep on the ensemble beds with wheels in the room with tiles, every time you roll over the bed takes off! It's a simple fix, a couple of little rubber squares from Bunnings would sort it out. The air conditioning in our unit was also really loud, like having an idling lawn mower in your room. We would have loved not to use it, but it was 90% humidity while we were there and we needed it. The ceiling fans were basically useless, they didn't spin very fast, and one of them was wobbling and making ominous noises when set on high speed. Our unit was a little dated and tired looking, not that we mind. The whole resort is starting to show it's age and needs a bit of an upgrade, although I think they may be working on that already. (I would like to note that we didn't mention any of these issues to managment during our stay, although I did leave a list of items that need repair after we left).

Rolling Surf is in a great location, with almost direct beach access and easy access to cafes and shops. It is quiet with minimal traffic noise and the fact that you don't have to cross a busy road to get to the beach is great. The pool is awesome, although it is starting to show it's age a little bit. It is also hard to get out of if you have any kind of mobility issues (I have a bad knee). The room we staying in was enormous compared to other places we have stayed, and the full kitchen and laundry facilites were great to have. The bath tub is nice, especially with little kids, and I appriciated having two showers and two toilets. The kitchen equipment in our unit was good quality which was a nice surprise.
