There was nothing we didn't like.

The room was clean and tidy, everything we needed to break the drive to Hobart which would have meant we got in after 7pm. Best option was to break our drive and we've stayed here before.

TV needs upgrading, and remote not functioning - had to call staff to rectify; and nearby hotel closed for dinner - we were warned in advance and had to purchase microwaveable meal before driving to Ross.

One of the best motels we've ever stayed at. Our room was cosy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The pretty gardens were in full boom and we had chickens roaming too. We loved it.

Although everything was good, it was a little pricey, i thought. Obviously, this has nothing to do with this place we stayed, but the only pub in town was a big letdown, which dampened our mood.

The place was nice and clean. Electric blanket for a chilly night. Tv on. Very few people around, so was extremely quiet. Overall, very happy to stay here.

Loved the complementary rooster (we called him Trent) crowing as he wandered around, and then we saw a pair of buff bantams (we called them Geoffrey and Bernie). As we were leaving a pair of ducks wandered in through the gates. Just a lovely way to start the day. Topped off a great night's sleep and a fabulous hot shower.

The Motel was great - we were disappointed that some cafes, shops & even the Pub were not open on Tuesday for dinner (or even lunch). It was necessary to drive to nearby town. I understand that it is Off Season & did expect reduced services.

The motel is in a lovely quiet location a short walk to the famous Ross Bridge & town shops, museum etc. The Female Factory is accessible by an easy walking track. Riverview at Ross has great facilities - large room size, bathroom & kitchenette. Emily provided us with information about things to do & see in the area!

Staff contacted me to advise that local meal options were limited on the day of my arrival and recommended Campbell Town for dinner. Took their advice and really enjoyed my meal at the local tavern. The heater was already turned on in my accommodation, so when I arrived the room was warm and inviting.

Our hot water didn’t work so we had to shower in another unit, which was very annoying because we had to walk to the furtherest unit away in the freezing cold. The problem was resolved but no offer of compensation or even an apology. Actually doubted I was telling the truth, saying it was working the previous week. Didn’t like the fact that none was on site to greet us and all correspondence was via text messages. Was supposed to contact us Monday afternoon regarding the issue but now Tuesday night and no reply. It was a very disappointing experience !

Great location, very easy to walk the gorgeous streets of Ross. Room was very comfortable, Emily was very helpful before we arrived in terms of where to eat, locations to visit, tips regarding laundry services and making sure our room was toasty warm upon arrival! Thank you Emily!
