Terrible smell of damp/mildew from the carpet between the lift and the corridor to the marina view bedrooms. Need to remove carpet and have some hard flooring there, as probably due to people walking in from pool with wet/dripping clothes.

Did not particulalry like the lengthy check-in. Didn't like that the hotel took $ 50 for incidentals and there were no incidentals to have! CC fees passed on to customers, although most hotels do that. Rooms are very nice but public areas let the hotel down including the "clinical" lobby. Furniture in restaurant old and worn.

The room, amenities, cleanliness of room, facilities in the room, size of room and overall feel of the room and bathroom was great. A lot of thought had gone into the design and liked the full length mirror on the bathroom door. Cabinets required maintenance - could have been better quality. Bed comfort was great.

We were put in a room with a door to potential connect to another room occupied by another guest. They were playing very loud music till late in night. Despite the complain the noise lasted until very late in night and the hotel did nothing about it

Breakfests were fine, but coffee machines had some errors and didn't work for a while on all days. The business center is on a floor that cannot be reached without the help of reception, and there is no actual lobby floor that you can sit in.

The location was great, the room was spacious, the view of the marina was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable.

English Breakfast Tea was not topped up until we asked for it specifically, as this was the only Tea we enjoy. Parking Fee was a bit expensive for the Hire Car.

From the first contact with Reception, everything went well and everyone was Happy and Friendly. Bed was comfortable and the coffee capsules were nice strong.

I was in a Marina Twin room. The room size was inadequate. The patio was dated, and the planks on the edge of the patio were bending. The base underneath the flooring is concrete. It did cause anxiety when it was noticed, but having a concrete foundation was helpful. I understand the furniture on the patio must withstand the weather conditions, but it too needs a change. Inside the room, the lounge/ bench seating did not make it comfortable for two people to sit at the round table. Perhaps this room could have a queen and a king single, that would then allow for a table and chairs setting. It could then also offer another nightstand. The jug was something I would expect at a Motel. The Nespresso machine was handy. However, its size meant I had to press it 4 times to get a mug of coffee. There was no other coffee on hand. We were using this room for sleeping only, as we were visiting family and inspecting properties. I made this booking through Bookings.com. I also may have been charged twice, and there was no free upgrade as expected with my level. Overall, it served its purpose. To pay $21.00 a day for underground parking, as well as what I paid for accommodation. I was a little disappointed. We are returning, I may ask for a tour before deciding on which room to choose, or if, in fact, I would stay there again. Booking .com, the images on the website were better than the real room. I loved the view, but a walk on the wharf or Esplanade could afford the same view.

The staff were beautiful humans. Everyone I encountered or spoke to on the phone was kind and considerate. Bouvi (?) The chef at breakfast on the morning of the 1st , April. He was so helpful in providing a ham and cheese toastie for my very aged father. Room Service is excellent. The bed and pillows were super comfortable for me. I would like to know the brands they use, please. The bathroom was excellent. I also like that they are eco-wise.

The room and public areas were a bit tired, not what you'd expect from a Shangri-La. There is no lighting by the seating area in the room.

We received a great welcome. The room was spacious, ckean and comfortable with all you need. The location was really good on the marina, close to good restaurants and the city centre We didn't use the pool, but it looked fab.

We thought the breakfast was very expensive (we didn't have it!).

It was a lovely room with a view over the marina. It had a coffee machine, but I had to ask for teabags. We were able to walk, with our luggage, around to the cruise terminal.

The centre it is attached to was disappointing but not the hotels fault. Parking was a bit of a pain, but again, it was not the hotels fault. Although they were a bit rude when we tried to sort it out.

The location was fantastic, and overall, the hotel was everything we thought it would be.
