The location was great. Room comfortable

I rang the hotel the day before our booking to ask if it was possible for an earlier check in because the bus was collecting wedding guests from hotel at 2pm. I was informed that if the rooms were cleaned it may be possible to get key for room between 1 and 1.30pm. When we asked on the Saturday when my daughter was arriving for the wedding 1 girl said room was clean but they had to wait for keys to be cleaned!!!. The older woman just said no and said they were open to 3am if we couldn’t get room key before bus. My daughter had to get ready for wedding our room which wasn’t big enough for 3 people to get ready for a wedding. My daughter received a call from hotel at 1.55 that room key was available. Too late with bus arriving at 2pm. When we got back to hotel at 11.10pm the doors to hotel were locked!! They were closing the hotel before 3am!! We were lucky there were still patrons drinking in the bar. We were disappointed in the attitude of staff. The room was ready. They must have so many people booking their hotel to go to a wedding. It is a pity the hotel staff couldn’t let us into the room at 1.30pm. Also there was no hot water for showers on the day of checkout!!!

The staff at bar where you check in were unhelpful. We had a bus pickup at 2pm for a wedding. We asked 3x’s for earlier access to my daughter’s room. I had been told if rooms were cleaned we could possibly enter rooms around 1-1.30pm. One staff said rooms were ready but we had to wait for keys to be cleaned!! Another just said no. My daughter had to get ready for wedding in our room. She received a call at 1.50 to get key but too late. We were told she could get her key when we got back from wedding as they were open until 3am. At 11.10pm when we got back to hotel the door to bar was locked. They were closed and waiting for customers to leave. If we had arrived at midnight my daughter may not have got a key to her room!! Also there was no hot water for showers on the day of checkout!!!

The room had been freshly decorated and was very attractive and the location was brilliant because it was right in the centre of town and there was a parking spot directly outside the hotel room which made moving luggage easy. The bed was super comfy. All in all, a good place to stay.

Nothing really. We were a little perplexed about finding the hotel since it is attached to a pub/hotel and we missed the entrance on a first sweep of the street. We failed to read the sign about how to check in but once we knew where to get the key it was all very straight forward.

Located in the centre on the town so easily accessible. Also the bedding was very comfortable.

The property was clearly past its prime and left quite a bit to be desired. Upon entering the foyer, the first thing that stood out was the heavily stained and dirty carpet. The table in the room was coated with a layer of dust, which I had to wipe down with a tissue. Additionally, there was no hand soap or shower gel provided in the bathroom. Since there was no room service available, I had to go down to the reception—which also doubled as the bar—to request basic amenities. Noise was another issue; every time someone opened or closed the main doors, the sound echoed loudly throughout the building.

Pictures showed us staying in cabins/ motel style which we thought we were staying in but ended up staying upstairs above the pub. But it was still nice

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs including a reschedule and an extension (we were there for a Bowral hospital stay). Space was basic but so comfortable and very conveniently located for the hospital run. We ate like royalty at the attached pub bistro, I seriously didn’t bother to go anywhere else, service & food were excellent. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bowral!

Fabulous location

The room was not clean . There was a used pair of underwear under the bed and hairs all over the bathroom vanity.

Great location

It wasn’t clean. Glasses and cutlery had to be washed before using. Shower and bathroom not clean. Cockroach squashed in door.

Nice, modern, comfortable room close to shops and cafes. The hotel serves good value meals.

In the heart of Bowral

Mouldy bathroom ceiling and so many spots where you could see people’s spilled liquids down the cupboards. Dirty light switches. Floor feeling grainy on our feet.

Location - able to park the car and walk everywhere. Staff were friendly and check-in was easy.

We asked for a room away from common entrances and away from big group bookings because I am sensitive to noise. Instead we were placed in a room right near the entrance to the accommodation and the room was right next door to a family with a child who would not stop crying and yelling. Was awoken near midnight to the sound of people yelling in the corridor and slamming the entrance door shut and again at 6am due to the child crying.

Location - right in the heart of Bowral. Was able to park the car at the accommodation and walk everywhere. Staff were nice and check-in was simple.

Bathroom had a bleach-like smell, floors were dirty/dusty and the room looked bigger in photos. Pillows were also uncomfortable and the people who stayed next door to us were loud late at night. The room was not soundproof so we could hear trucks and other noises throughout the night.
