Wasn't told about needing to ask for room service before 5pm. Only discovered this after reading notice on bathroom wall. Though we only were there 2 nights so not major problem but could have been if stayed longer. Noise from nightclubs until 3am. Unruly child jumping up and down in room above us from 7am til 9.30m ( Sunday) I would have complained, but we were checking out at 10am. Creeky bathroom door.

Large, comfortable room. Clean. Central. Excellent staff opened balcony especially for us for dinner.

Wi Fi Netflix would be a nice add-on

Old World Charm of the hotel - right opposite the Town Hall and a super location to the centre of town and local sights. The hotels own restaurant is good and is an order at the counter/pay and served to your table. We found the Wi-Fi difficult to log into and its coverage/quality fairly poor. Prince Charles and Lady Di stayed here which added some charm. Rooms are big / spacious and bathroom very clean, hot water and all the goodies needed.

The location is a bit gritty particularly at night.

Historic Pub with a cool vibe. The arrangement for secure parking works well. Quiet rooms. Comfortable bed.

Would be nice if kitchen offered half portions or allowed adults to order from the children's meal.

shower was lovely, staff were very helpful. It is a little tired but more than made up for by the helpful staff and the location. The food downstairs was very nice.

The bed in my room (306) had broken springs, one side was very comfortable but the otherside had a huge dip in it that made it very uncomfortable to sleep on, I even fell off at one point

the staff were fantastic and helpful, the room and bathroom were clean and warm and inviting and the location was fantastic, especially with the easter festival on right outside

The restaurant staff while friendly and helpful were a little disorganised (bar not stocked and many menu drinks not available and meals left on the kitchen bar a long time awaiting staff to serve them)

Great location. The room was very nice large and clean. Bathroom was a little dated but also clean and functional.

Our room was small dark and dingy. The bed was awful. Each time one of us got up or moved the bed rocked like we were on waves. Did not sleep well at all. Would not recommend that room #213

I liked the nostalgic look and that it is an iconic land mark of Bendigo. Staff were lovely and the food was great.
