Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

Being recognised by the staff, made welcome and accommodated in a comfy quiet room in the centre of the city at a very reasonable rate. I tried out the latest line up of snacks in the VicBar and was delighted to find I could have a Mojito Mocktail. Breakfast buffet doe not disappoint so an all round great way to stay in the city!

AustraliaI slipped over when walking out of the lift due to a wet floor that had just been mopped. There were signs set up to warn people walking towards the lifts but not warn people walking out of the lift. When advised that they should have signs to warn people coming from the lift they did not respond or acknowledge the point I made.

Australiavery little i didn't like. Just one thing though, the Sanitary Boxes were empty. they had not been checked between occupation of the room. there is nothing in the refrigerator any longer. A chocolate or a bag of nuts would be lovely.
the location of the Hotel Victoria is perfect for my stays in Melbourne. i can walk to everywhere i want to go in the city. my room was excellent, away from street noise; any noise really as it was higher up. it could not be faulted. would asked for room 5121 for my next visit. Bed was very comfortable. all the facilities in the room worked well. plenty of power points. the bathroom i particularly liked was the handrail in the shower. very few hotels have this support. well thought through. i like Munro's to eat. good food.

New ZealandThe pool was smaller than we had hoped and we didn't have access to any outdoor space when we got to the pool which is okay but not what we had hoped. It was fine for a quick cool off, but found the air conditioning in the hotel was so cool we didn't really need it.
Room was very comfortable for our needs, beds were comfy, bathroom was clean and we had a little mini kitchen which was handy for storing snacks and making tea/coffee. Lobby area was tidy, staff were friendly and we loved having an in house restaurant, bar to make breakfasts easy. Location is handy, close to transport, and plenty of food options

The location is fabulous. Super central, close to Flinders Street station and tram stops. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on. Vic’s bar is a little oasis with lovely intimate places to enjoy a drink and helpful staff. Their playlist is wonderful. The buffet breakfast at Mister Munro was great. Staff everywhere were wonderful; friendly and helpful.
