Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Our stay at "Tranquil Beach Getaway" was absolutely wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. Our host, Nicole, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The accommodation had everything we needed for a truly relaxing stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The outdoor area was a highlight, with a beautiful pool that provided the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the sunshine. The pool was so relaxing that we spent a lot of time there, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is ideal, just a short distance from the beautiful Coolum Beach and the town center. We loved being able to easily walk to the beach and explore the local shops and restaurants. The kitchenette was also a great feature, as it was fully equipped with everything required to cook our own meals. We honestly loved everything about our stay and would highly recommend "Tranquil Beach Getaway" to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable escape in Coolum Beach.

Not a thing!
Bright, cheerful, self-contained space. Lots of relaxing vibes!.Location was great, with just a short leisurely stroll to Coolum Beach, shops, and restaurants. Our small oodle dog was very happy to be close with us in our travels and to have the small yard to retreat to when needed.

Nicolene was very welcoming and helpful ,available if we needed any information..Very comfortable bed , great outdoor area with use of pool , just unfortunate the weather wasn’t good . Couldn’t fault this stay .

Didn't realise owners lived on premises, the drive is very steep so if like me and have arthritis in knees then you need to have a vehicle to drive to the top of drive. There is quite a lot of house rules as use of washing machine, can't use tumble not that it's needed as very hot weather. Didn't feel like we could use the pool as owners live on site plus when family used the pool there dogs went in with them. We didn't stay alot during the

The driveway was very steep but that is beyond the hosts control.
It was clean, tidy, well decorated and very comfortable. Loved being able to use the pool too.

An additional towel and more toilet paper would have been great, however they were both provided on request.

If you don’t have a car consider the property it’s high so it’s hard to get it. The check out time say 10-11, but it’s a 10.
Everything is very nice and comfortable, the attention of Nicolene was very nice and sweet.

Too far from shops. Noisy in morning with power tools and then drumming from next door. Shower needed bleach. Not told extra 35 for dog on booking.com. I did not bring my dog.
Set out nice Lady was nice with check in.
