Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Zero Davey had had a fire and were unable to receive guests. They rebooked us to a similar apartment which was greatly appreciated.

I am a repeat traveller to the Zero Davey. Love the location and I also love the size, facilities and cleanliness of the rooms. Staff are friendly as well.

The suite shared a door with another suite and I could hear them washing their dishes. I had to stick towels against the bottom of the shared door and the entry door to my suite given the huge gap. I am not sure if this was also why the room was so cold. On a couple of nights I had to sleep with the heating on, which is very unusual.
The hotel was superbly located, and the linked cafe is great. The suite was a great size and largely well set up. I asked to change my room/suite and they were able to accommodate me.

My room was on the main road so there was a bit of traffic noise, but it was not overly disruptive.
Beautiful and spacious apartment with kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. Daily room cleaning included, which was a nice bonus! Centrally located within easy walking distance of most of the Hobart CBD.

We had a ground floor unit, close to a busy road. The windows did a good job keeping out noise but a view would have been nice. Can't have everything I guess. The apartments are very popular and were apparently booked out while we were there.

Great place that was very well positioned and within walking distance to a number of restaurants and places to visit. Very thankful to the staff for their help when the hotel caught fire and we were evacuated.

The location was fantastic, the fit out of the room was GREAT, and the bed was very comfortable. Ian and Shaun were both incredibly accommodating despite some building emergencies!

Positioned perfectly , on the harbour . So close to many eateries . Sean was super helpful , I had a accident and couldn’t place my left foot so he lent us an office chair . It was a saving grace getting around the apartment . He went out of his way to be very helpful.

traffice noise could be a problem for some as you are on the main road through Hobart, but it didnt bother us and you could always request a harbour view

Parking limited and best to contact site to reserve parking if you have been travelling in your own vehicle.

The location near the docks was perfect. Very central to town, Salamanca etc. We were very happy with the room. It was clean, comfortable and had a washing machine and dryer which was very convenient.

The vanity in the bathroom was very small and a bit difficult to use owing to its size.
Great location and the manager Shaun was very helpful sorting out parking for me. Good facilities and comfortable room.

Excellent location, you're at the waterfront so need to worry about driving anywhere, everything is in close proximity to the city. The view was excellent, comfortable room with easy access for parking in a secure covered area for a reasonable $10 per day by reservation.
