The location is great if you don't have a car, The closest beach is less than a 10-min walk (Governor's Beach). You can also walk to Surfside Beach. You can easily walk to downtown where you can catch a bus to go to Eagle Beach, Palm Beach or Arashi Beach (10A or 10B). There is also a supermarket not too far, a Dutch café, and a few restaurants nearby.

Jonny was the perfect host- very helpful and kind! The accommodation was a small house with AC bedroom , separate kitchen with all you need if you decide to cook, , a sofa and a eating corner with a big table , bathroom and WC .It is in his back yard, in a garden with few other houses and a sitting place , if you want to eat outside or to have a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. It is 10 min walk from Oranjestad main street and from the marina with many restaurants and bars. You can reach best beaches by public bus from main bus station , also 10 min walk.

The host Johnny was great and very helpful. We loved the outdoor area, very lush with a variety of plants and lots of birds. If we come back to Aruba we will definitely stay there again. Good value for $$

The apartments are clean, prepared for arrival, refrigerator, stove, plumbing work perfectly. A huge advantage is that all issues related to accomodation in an unfamiliar country the host helped to solve quickly and clearly. You can rely on such people, they are a rarity these days.

Excellent location in the heart of the capital Oranjestad, apt was a good size and comfortable. Close to restaurants, bars, and shopping and a 10 min walk to the beach. There is a 24/7 convenient store at the gas station 7 min walk. Still, it was in a quiet neighborhood.

We stayed in room # 2. The room is fully equipped with AC, stove, microwave, mini fridge, blender, and enough things for you to cook if you want (which is a good option if you want to save money). It has a big and a really comfy bed. The bathroom and wardrobe are also big. Johnny is very attentive, he was there at every moment for us when we asked him for something.

The location is not easy to find via taxi.

The locatikn is exceptionally clean, with a lovely outside seating area. Very close to the main street and city center.

It was clean, comfortable and safe. Within walking distance to the beach. It had a little stove, microwave and refrigerator so I bought a few things at the supermarket since I felt like the island is extremely overpriced (imagine a person that lives in Miami saying that) (specially food /gas)so I was able to make me a few meals. They provide you a password not a key and there is a lady that cleans the apartments and is always around in case you need anything. Overall I was more than satisfied with the room!

The pipes are small so cannot flush toilet paper. Should have picked up when researching. Same as in Cyprus and South Korea.

Bring facecloths and a hand towel as I tried for 10 days to buy some to no avail. There is outside courtyard sitting but is really to hot out there. It would be nice to have a small Bistro table in the unit. The neighbors let their dogs out at about 7am every morning and they fight and bark.

The location is amazing, just a short walk to shopping, restaurants and the beach. Easy access to the whole Island.
