The only suggestion is for a small beach cooler to be available per unit. We had one yet recognize others may not and it’s truly needed for day and sunset trips to the many beaches of Aruba.

The layout and design of the property is excellent. The covered patio and outdoor kitchen shades you from the hot sun and allows you to embrace the outdoors for an extended time. There’s shaded areas by the pool and throughout the day some shade on the pool too during the suns peak. An outdoor shower makes the pool very accessible upon return from a morning or day at the beach too. The indoor space is very functional too and the shower wand and rainfall faucets are welcome. The modern AC unit cools the space quickly. The unit comes with two camp style chairs in bags and towels for beach use. Overall the property is a great value and makes one’s stay in Aruba comfortable and memorable too.

The outdoor kitchen is absolutely beautiful and very well stocked but you must keep it extremely clean or you will find ants! We found even if a crumb or two were left, an army of ants would show up. This is not a fault of the property at all- it is inevitable there will be bugs in such a beautiful, slightly rural place, but just an fyi for future travellers to keep it clean. The property provides lots of cleaning supplies so it wasn't an issue once we became aware and stayed on top of cleaning.

This property is absolutely beautiful! The outdoor areas- the pool, the flora, the fauna, the landscaping, the lighting have created such a lush, magical vibe, day and night. Right outside of the property, you will find beautiful views of the east side of the island, and tons of adorable dogs and wild goats! It is just a short drive away from the west side of the island for touristy white-sand beaches, shops and restaurants, and the east side of the island where the views are rugged but wildly beautiful and unmatched and it was only minutes away from our ATV excursion exploring Arikok National Park. This location was absolutely ideal for travellers like us who can feel suffocated in touristy areas. The lodges are close to one another but the way the buildings and trees are set up, there is utmost privacy. We stayed around a week and the other lodges almost always had guests staying there but we never heard anything from anyone else. The room itself, bathroom, and kitchen were all very clean and modern but minimalistic. There was tons of space to spread out our baggage and between us two girls, we had lots. We had adequate towels and beach towels as well. There were also some bonus amenities we weren't expecting like bug spray, clothes drying rack, beach chairs, Netflix, and more, all of which were very useful during our stay.

It’s a very unique atmosphere up in that part of the island. It felt like I was visiting an enclave or a retreat tucked in among the cactus. Once you’re on the grounds and settled in you can feel the quiet and the nature that surrounds you. It’s nice and there’s a breeze that blows through. Also the owner of the property is personable and very helpful.

The property was a little difficult to find especially on the 1st day since our GPS was unable to locate the property. We resolved this by setting it as our home location on our GPS. It was on a dirt road so there was much dust, and poor roads involved. Most amenities and features were in good condition and the apartment had a great AC, though if we have a criticism it is that although the apartment has good amenities, the decor is quite sterile. Also, not the fault of the property certainly, however our experience with Booking.com in reserving this was far from ideal. Booking.com listed the property for $950 USD, however after all taxes and additional expenses were added the total cost was over $1200. Perhaps the property is worth this, however, the continual surprises of additional costs were very disconcerting and this did put us much in excess of our budget for this vacation.

The location was good regarding accessibility to most things on the island, The property itself was very good, with all amenities and features being either in new or like-new condition. The pool was superior and it was excellent to have this in the normally hot weather of Aruba. Heiko and the staff actually were excellent hosts and they were constantly available to make our stay as pleasant as possible; in fact, our stay was a very good time. The outdoor Kitchen/dining area was both good and bad. Good because early in the morning when the weather was reasonably pleasant it was a nice experience cooking and eating outdoors, bad since when it was hot during the day being outside was not so pleasant (Though agreed if you take breaks and jump into the pool every hour or so this can be mitigated). The kitchen facilities are however EXCELLENT!

The property was beautiful. You can tell he takes great care of the space! Everything was clean, and all the essentials for our stay were provided. We would stay here again over other locations we have stayed on the island.
