“It took us a little time to find Guesthouse Ilisu, but the search was totally worth it. On the main street in Ilisu, this unmarked Guesthouse is a gem. A traditional mountain house, it features a beautiful garden, clean toilet, a shower with good water pressure and temperature, comfortable and cosy bedroom, and plenty of old-world, little-mountain-village charm. Only the grandmother was at the Guesthouse when we arrived, and she cooked us a mighty good lunch and dinner, replete with fantastic homemade jams, preserves, and compote. We felt like we were at our grandparents' house.
The location is very central, with two supermarkets within walking distance.
The Wifi is good, and the owners have kept a few basic maps of attractions around Ilisu for travellers to use.”
