The receptionist gentleman Bayram was very polite and attentive during our stay and helped us every time we asked something :) since we had to leave the hotel at night due to an early flight home, he made us a packed breakfast so we could eat something before the flight:) The location was amazing, only a 5 minute walk from the Old Town gate. The Carpet Museum and the seaside promenade is very close too. We could easily travel from the hotel to attractions which are generally further from the city center because it is close to the big metro station and the buses run frequently too from the nearby bus stops. Small shop just next to the hotel, you can find there everything and is cheap. The room was avarage. The aircon works well, but even with open windows we could sleep well, because the street where the hotel is located is a small one with not much traffic. (In addition the window had a mosquito-net!) The bathroom was good. Overall the room was clean. We booked a room with breakfast which contains vegetables, cheese, omelette, bread, jam etc. It was good, with some nice tea:)

Great location, 5-10mins from the old city, coast is also only 10mins away. Bayram at the reception ia super helpful, he helps with travel tips also. Clean, quiet rooms. Breakfast is enough, and very tasty.

Everything: 1) Most importantly: host Mr. Bairam - he is really gem of a person and helped me throughout my journey with bext checkin expereince (1 hour before my scheduled checkin time) + helped me with wonderful inshits about Baku City and places to visit + honest feedback about food places. He also helped me with room amentities including breakfast as per my choise. 2) The Location is simple awesome for this hotel. Near to Funicular which takes you to the top of Baku City to give Panoromic views of the city and best view of Famous Flame Towers. 3) It is near to Philharmonic park whcih is green cool clean and probably one of the best and calm place to listen live piano (free) by various artist / ameteurs / casual surfers who plays it really mesmerizing. 4) same location is best for F1 race as it is hardly few meters away from the International Forumal 1 racing whcih takes place on the same road where normal cars travel on daily basis (during F! circuit this road is reserved only for racing cars)

It is impossible to tell anything negative about it as I have cigerette smoke allergy but Mr. Bairam has maintained all the rooms completely smoke free, location of the room given to me was also brilliant as it is near to that road which is very less inhabited even though it is in the heart of main city + location of the hotel is close to old city and heritage area so, I have actually nothing to complain about anything.

1. Number 1 for me was knowing how helpful Bayram was. Upon check-in, he told us about nearby places, market, currency exchange, attractions. 2. This hotel is situated at the prime location. You can walk to Deniz Mall, Old City, and Nizami Street. 3. Decent breakfast to start the day. 4. Hotel was clean.

I booked the room for 1 night and then extended my stay to 4 nights. Very good location - very near to the Baku old city, a few steps from funicular and deniz mall. Public transport is also accessible by foot (both the bus and metro). The Hotel room is tiny but new and clean. The first day we were greeted by Nadeem who was very welcoming, he kept our bags as we arrived a couple of hours before our check-in time. And from the second day it was Beyram, a real gentleman, helped with everything we asked for. He brought us cups for tea as soon as he saw us enter the hotel every time. Helped us with directions and suggestions. He booked us a taxi to the airport for our return and even spoke with the driver before we sat in the car just to make sure our ride would be smooth and without any trouble (taxi scams are common in Baku - specially when to/from the airport. I'd recommend this hotel. Really impressed with the hospitality.

Our bed had a spring mattress which was kinda uneven. We didn't have enough space to put a prayer mat. The breakfast is a fixed menu so we did not take it after the first day. Not a deal breaker.

Property is located in walkable distance to prime tourist spots and hotel staff - especially Bayram is very hospitable and excellent in guiding us.
