Breakfast choice was a little poor, service excellent

we were upgraded to the Honeymoon suite, which had agood view and outside space, but no seating area as my friends had in their rooms but the view made up for it. Bathroom was huge .

Occasionally the wait in the restaurant, particularly for drinks, was a little longer than it needed to be.

We had a spacious room with kitchenette and plunge pool on the balcony. The view, the flowers, the sound of the waterfall were fabulous and made you feel relaxed. The rooms were cleaned every day to a very high standard. The restaurant was of high quality and the staff very friendly.

Great location and hotel, would stay here again. The staff is wonderful and the hotel has everything you need. When I come back I will spend less time away from the hotel, it was that comfortable.

There was some early morning noise (6 am) just outside our room which disturbed us a number of times. The Taxi ride from the cruise port to the hotel was not good. We waited 1 hour for the pre arranged taxi to arrive

No elevator. the rooms are spaced for best view and quiet which we did appreciate.

Our room was adjacent to the pool. very lovely. this facility has no elevator, so we requested a first-floor room. The beach and pool area are truly beautiful, relaxing, and met all expectations. The baby pool and kids pool meant we could take advantage of the pool whenever we wanted.

The gym could have been a bit better.

The property is lovely and the facilities are generally very good. The pool is nice, but nothing special. I appreciate that they have a separate kids' pool. We enjoyed one dinner and one lunch at the restaurant. They have very tasty food that is fresh, but the service is super slow, so be prepared. The prices are fair. We went to the gym twice. Some of the equipment is old, but most of it is just fine. It's in the basement and smells a little funny. We enjoyed the quiet a lot. You need to be prepared to walk a bit to get most places (including the bus stop). Or rent a car or take a cab (expensive).

Check in was very slow which was hard arriving late at night after an 8 hour flight but I think it’s just the bajan pace. The location is about a 30 minute walk from restaurants if you’re not eating at the hotel so something to consider. It didn’t bother us so much as the buses are so easy and cheap!

This hotel is just gorgeous. From start to finish we felt so welcomed and comfortable. The staff can’t do enough for you, it is right on the beach and whilst it’s not a private beach (as with all beaches in Barbados), it is on the end you feel very secluded. Fresh pool/beach towels everyday and a very good happy hour in the swim up bar!

We enjoyed the position of our room but it overlooked the pool and the entertainment area (nightly singing/bands - but of the easy listening kind) so it can be noisy in the early evening. If you want a more peaceful room, make sure you request that at the time of booking. However, by 10:30 pm, everything has stopped so you just hear the lapping of the waves on the shore as you head to sleep.

The hotel is very attractive with a splendid entrance leading to a very pretty, flower filled tropical walkway through to the pool area, restaurant and beach, There is a sunken bar. Our hotel room had a small kitchenette, a very large and comfortable bed and a balcony overlooking the shaped pool and the ocean. The rooms have air con and fans so it's easy to sleep well. The beach here is wonderful and the hotel is practically next door to Sands who have created a windbreak for the waves which means there is a calmish area to swim - the waves are strong here. We like the fact that this is a smallish hotel (100 rooms) so it doesn't feel too corporate. The staff are SO friendly.

Arguments about what we could and couldn't eat at breakfast. Didn't make any sense, not that we eat much anyway. Spoilt it for us.

Amazing location with direct beach access set in beautiful tropical gardens with several swimming pools. The Calabash restaurant served excellent food both at breakfast and dinner and the children enjoyed the many games organised by the fantastic friendly beach staff.

A lovely beach location, but taxis required to get to other restaurants in St Lawrence Gap or beyond. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing due to limited choice.

To be honest, everything went very well. We commented a number of times how lovely your staff is, no matter the age, no matter the job, they were lovely and helpful. Calabash was great and the Thai food night was delicious. The rooms are nice, and located nicely around the pool area.

We had two meals at the hotel, the evening meal was nice and the service was excellent, lunch the following day was disappointing in that the service was exceptionally slow.

Fabulous beach , amazing sunsets. This hotel is a gem , attentive staff, good options for beach activities, boogie boarding was great fun. Catch of the day for dinner was always good.

Service in the restaurant could be improved. Room service could be improved as we had to collect from the restaurant.

Direct access to pools from our room and access to the beech. Room cleanliness was well maintained. Reception services was first rate.

Service at the swim-up pool bar could have been faster and more efficient during peak times. Maybe more staff or a waiter service, could have helped alleviate this.

The location was absolutely splendid and the staff was always very courteous and supportive. There was always an ample supply of beach towels and personnel nearby to help with any need.
