Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomBar was expensive so no-one really used it. Pure Ocean restaurant was just ok. Apartment was a bit tired in places. Felt it was expensive for what it was but worth paying the extra for pool/garden view.
Great pools, no rush to grab a lounger in the morning, comfy bed, good shower, excellent location right in the middle of The Gap. The crazy golf course was superb! Gardens were large and well kept.

United KingdomEverything was very nice.
We only stayed here for one night but we were very happy with everything. The reception staff were lovely and helpful, the rooms were large and very comfy, the grounds were immaculate and it was a hop skip and a jump from the beach.

United StatesWe had a big group which required more towels and rags than what was given, upon asking for more, the staff was giving us a hard time. Also, the security guards were always sleep upon returning to the property.
I like that the property was in close proximity to everything! Walking distance from the beaches and restaurants!

CanadaNot much to dislike. We like the fact it is not an all-inclusive resort.
Location was great in the St. Lawrence Gap - great restaurants for dinner in the evening. On main road so was easy to use the local transportation to the grocery store, etc. We like the independent living in your own little apartment and using our own kitchen facilities for breakfast and lunch and then eating out in the evening. The resort very much fits our relaxed lifestyle!

United StatesThe front desk clerks really need a course in hospitality. Besides the gentleman working the front desk, the ladies appeared annoyed, uncaring and unwilling to do anything beyond the posted hotel guidelines. There was on in particular with the initials of MM who really needs additional training on excellent customer service.
The location of the property is perfect. Plenty of restaurants and bars easy walking distance away. The room, the beach and beach restaurant were excellent. The staff everywhere but the front desk were excellent and showed excellent friendly and inviting island hospitality.

United KingdomRooms were to have bedding changed Tuesday and Friday, that never happened even once for us. Towels to be changed daily, that happened twice only during our stay. Dirty smelly dish sponge left in kitchen draining board tray. Back of toilet near hinges was very dirty. Check in time is 4pm which is very late and we have not experienced that before. Checkout time is 10am again very early unless you can get a late checkout at a cost. 2 elevators, 1 was broken for the whole stay. The other was broken on and off during that time.
Great location, easy access to Lawrence Gap and all the Bar and Restaurants. 3 lovely pools all very clean. Good amount of loungers. Great beach bar called Pure Ocean with great service and views over the beach. Room was like an apartment with lounge/kitchen plus bedroom and dressing room so loads of space. Extremely large comfy bed. Good size balcony over looking gardens. Great tour organised by the man in activity centre on site.

GermanyThe WiFi really wasn’t good. The staff told us that it might be because of the weather and timing when we visited but still it really sucked. Also: the balcony door was secured with an extra lock which also had to be there because the handle was really not doing anything, felt like it could fall off any minute. Since there was an extra lock we assumed they knew about it. What we also wanted to give feedback on: we understand it’s sometimes tricky to grant a later check out, but we asked the night before and were told we have to check in the next morning by 7 am. We tried but nobody took the call, when we went to the reception they told us the staff to decide this wasn’t there yet and she could only grant us an hour. We were happy about that already but we thought the whole process could have been a tiny bit smoother.
We loved the resort! Perfect location, has its own beach club, mini market and massages as well as gym are all on site, staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. We definitely want to come back!

United KingdomWas not impressed with the food at the restaurant. Had to have food sent back as shrimp and calamari was rubbery. Then had an alternative meal which wasn’t great either with over cooked flying fish. Then next day ordered the Caribbean breakfast at $40 BDS a head. Had 3x flour and water bakes with a little ackee and salt fish. We’re half Jamaican and never had ackee and salt fish tasting of curry powder . Was not impressed . Also hotel didn’t return any of my messages on booking .com . It was our honeymoon and we didn’t get our requests answered for any extras for the night, so was pretty let down and disappointed. I even tried to phone several times and nobody EVER picked up the call or returned any emails . That’s pretty ridiculous considering anything could have happened where we needed to talk to the hotel before arriving!! I wonder if anyone will even contact us regarding this feed back??
Lovely and clean with all things needed in an apartment and a lovely big bed. Perfect!

United KingdomThe fact that as we were a big party of 14 for one night then reducing to 8 for the next few nights things seem to have got a bit mixed up room wise...I had booked a room for 3 of us but it was only set up for 2 wen we could get in so had to ask for more towels bedding etc...the sofa bed was broken but was replaced shortly after..the front door wouldn't close but was fixed once I reported it but we didn't have patio furniture whereas our friends in the adjoining room did but when I asked for some we did not receive any so had to bring out the kitchen chairs...all in all tho it was a great hotel in a great location and would def return
Loved the location..staff were good and efficient..Hamilton in the main beach bar was very attentive and informative..we had a few issues with our room but they were dealt with very quickly and efficiently.overall I would recommend this hotel to friends

United KingdomThe check in is horrendous, so many rules to sign up to, they take $99 from your credit card to be refunded later. You are worn out at the end of it. Learn how to use a convection oven as they are in the rooms.
Real 4* Hotel, much better than any in the area I tried. 2 entrances make it easy to get to the Gap or main road to Bridgetown/Oistins. Extremely well equiped rooms and tennis courts, basic mini golf if you like that sort of stuff.

United KingdomThe hotel is not the most updated and well kept and the room was not very clean, honestly for the money you pay, I think they can improve a lot of things. At least to check the lights and the plugs if they're working and give a good clean between guests
