Unfortunately someone had smoked in the room just prior to me taking it. It took about two days for the smell to clear.

Lovely large rooms and wonderful staff. This is a great little boutique hotel.

The property needs work, there were several physical problems (the lighting transformer in my room failed and buzzed loudly, the toilet flush broke). However, the hotel addressed them immediately. I will be back to Dhaka and will stay there, but will have some requirements in advance.

Very good location on “quiet” (by Dhaka standards!) street. Staff is excellent, they responded immediately to all my requests.

The room did not have any view or openness, unlike what they showed in the photo on the Bookings.com website. Also, the WiFi was very poor in the room. The staff had to instal another router for me to get the internet

Breakfast options are a bit poor, also the bathrooms felt a bit dated. The sink in my room was not working …the toilet failed to flush until staff fixed it.

Perfect for a short stay near the shops and restaurants of road 11. Friendly staff and large rooms.

They don’t have any synchronisation with the booking.com app. During check in they wanted to charge as per their room rent policy. Then i had to provide them the booking.com reservation copy and they seems surprised. The taste of their restaurant’s food was not up to the mark.

The environment is very calm and quite. Their internal staff behaviour was good.

The best thing was that I got a room upgrade. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I was also satisfied with the breakfast. I was impressed that the skin of the cucumber in the salad had been removed and cut.

It is always a turn off when an establishment tries to rip you off. With this staff it was infuriating and exhausting. I had to repeatedly insist on them charging no more than what was owed and had I not been insistent, it would have cost an extra $150 or more. So, you have to question why institutions such as this, are even listed on Booking.com? I cancelled a restay here for which booking.com had to be involved due to all the issues caused. Omni Residence down the block is a far more honest establishment, for a far lower cost.

I do not recommend this hotel to foreign travellers. This hotel charges whatever it feels like as the exchange rate at payment - not the global rate which even marked up was not as high as we were charged. It led to a nasty surprise at check out - which due to our rush to get to the airport we couldnt even query properly. The staff had no explanation other than this was set by the owners. We were repeatedly asked to pay in USD which is insane considering i am a British traveller. I dont recommend this hotel just based on the extortionate exchange rate charges - We stayed in 3 Dhaka hotels in this area during our stay as were scouting for a bulk booking and this was the only hotel we experienced this scenario at. These charges were really disappointing and really takes away from the great service provided by the staff.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful - a special shout out to Rakayat on the sales team who was always available via Whatsapp to support with queries and even kept my family updated about our delayed flight! The reception team were welcoming and friendly and we really enjoyed our interactions with them. The steak was pricey but of great quality and really tasty so we didnt mind the cost.
