Just my usual gripe, the lack of an anti-slip mat in the shower. I really must learn to travel with one!

We had the loft, a quiet, comfortable room. Breakfast was fine, and we enjoyed talking to the other guests (essential, as one takes breakfast at a large, shared table). Very central location, just behind St Salvador. Karine, the manageress, very helpful in travelling with us to t'Zilverpand car-park, which we would not otherwise have been able to find because of the one-way system. Highly recommended.

Very nice, small B&B in a center of Brugge, friendly staff, stylish interior - looks old-style but in fact very well preserved and clean. Nice atmosphere, quiet and calm place.

There was only a soap dispenser in the shower. There were no extra shampoo, bodylotion or other. Take also a sleeping mask with you if you are a light sleeper (curtains dont close fully the window), and the ventilation system could get a dust off. But you are almost blinded by these things ;)

The bed was almost for 4 people! Really good cussions and matrass. Wine, fire place, beautiful view, lounge music, big shower. Love it!

Having to leave was the only negative!

B&B 1669 massively exceeded our expectations. Our room, "Roof with a view" was stunning beyond words and the B&B itself was perfectly situated, just ten minutes walk from anywhere you'd like to visit in Bruges. We were both sad to leave and would love to return to this gem in the future. The hosts were warm and welcoming and the breakfast choice was excellent - thank you for a perfect stay.

The B&B is at walking distance from the railway station. Remark: every road has cobble stones so a walk with luggage on wheels is quite noisy.

This is a really authentic and charming place. They have done great job modernizing it while keeping the character. Exposed beams, but mood music and mood lighting in the rooms, for example. Nice touch. A small bottle of complimentary wine. Old building, so no lift, and we were in the attic room. End of our trip so the bags were heavy. They need to put handrails for that last flight of stairs. It is a little out of the center of the action, which I considered a plus, as many tourists flock there, for the same reason we did. But close enough and definitely walkable. It is just a great little town. The town itself is now very clean and prosperous, but wasn't always, and unrelentingly picturesque. The B&B owners also manage another property across the street and so were a bit scarce sometimes when we needed them. The breakfast was very good and plenteous. I would definitely stay here again and pack lighter.

A wonderful old building with lots of interesting nooks and crannies, some just a little dusty.

The bed was huge and extremely comfy.Loved having the window behind and 2 skylights above making the morning weather forecast as easy as looking out of the window ! Coffee and a variety of teas available 24/7 was a welcome extra as was the bowl of fruit on the breakfast room table during the day. Perfect location for exploring. Host couldn't have been helpful, bike hire available although we didn't use. Amazing secure garage facility - a short 3 minute walk from the property well worth the small extra charge to park our car and forget about driving for a few days !

The breakfast setting was one larger table (for about 6 people), and there were no other tables. So our breakfast was a bit more intimate than we were hoping for, as when we came in we were alone, so we sat in the middle of the table together. But later, another couple from another hotel that this owner also manages came by to have their breakfast, and with us not wanting to pick up and purposefully move away from them a seat down...we were seated directly next to them like a double date! For more sociable people, I'm sure this would be fine, but we're a shy couple on holiday.

We loved everything. We stayed in the room at the very top, which was super cute and romantic, and had a fantastic view. My favorite parts of the room were the huge window (picture of the view included) and the vintage-style bathtub. The breakfast was above-average for a Euro-buffet-style set-up, and the quality of the breakfast items was excellent.

The bed wasn't comfortable unfortunately, mattresses too basic and hard. And I had some bites after sleeping there, I don't know if it was Mosquitos or bed bugs? It spoilt the experience. Also, wi-fi was very patchy.

Great central location, spacious rooms, charming and full of character. Delicious breakfast, complimentary tea as coffee. Lovely hosts. Luxurious shower products, good quality bed sheets and towels.

If I had to really nit-pick, the only thing I could think of was the lack of normal tea... but there was hot chocolate, coffee, orange and apple juices as well as a selection of flavoured teas... so only a tiny blip on an otherwise excellent stay.

This Hotel was perfectly located for exploring the city by foot. The owner was lovely and the area was clean and comfortable. Ideal :)
