Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The area was not great so much noise even at 3am, room are not sound proved anyone talking on the corridor or next room you can hear then. You can hear the bed noise as well.
Medium size room with a bedroom fridge. Use access.

Accessibility by car.
The hotel was nice, clean and very comfortable bed. But the location wasn't easy to access by car.

There is mis information on Booking.com that Parking is included within the price. In reality we need to pay 15 Euros for parking and we need to reserve in advance for it.

The place around the hotel doesn’t look safe, I won’t advise to walk along. There are lots of strange people, who look not friendly
The hotel is perfect if you need one night stay and it’s very close to a bus station if you need to take a shuttle to the airport

It’s building site all around for the foreseeable future .Not great around,dirty,lots of drunks . Car window got smashed overnight -don’t park on street here

Couldn't get the heating to work . Was hot most nights thermostat was broken . Only 0ne small pillow .me and the wife like 2 . Cracked sink . But generally it was suitable for purpose
The bed was comfy. The cleaners cleaned every morning.

The location is close to the city center, but a bit scary, especially if you travel alone!

It was a little bit cramped. The area was full of construction sounds and kind of smelly.
Very friendly staff and good value for the price. Clean and comfy. A bit cramped but that was to be expected.

It wasn't important for me as I arrived and left in the dark, but the view from the room was nonexistent- unless you count a sort of access/skylight courtyard!
The hotel is well located, not too far from Bruxelles-Midi station and easy to find. The room was warm and comfortable, and the reception staff helpful and friendly. It's an ideal place to overnight- as I did- to catch a train the next day, or use as a base to explore Brussels.

The lower sheet of the bed had something on a tiny spot on it, what it was, we couldn't know. Also the hotel is not in a very safe area, however they are not to blame for that. Other than that, the stairs were a bit narrow and short, so if there wasn't a lift, carrying all the luggage would have been a challenge.
the room was warm as the heating was on, with the option to be turned off of course. The room was also clean as was the bathroom, with a shower that closed off completely to not let water out. Finally, the cleaning staff was very kind and the bed was very comfortable. All in all, the room exceeded my expectations

You need to do something about soundproofing. Love is all well and good, but you can't listen to it all night. It was not comfortable at all :(

Not in the nicest neighbourhood but again it’s close to transports into the centre. Not the nicest or most modern building but perfectly fine for a short stay.
Close to Midi Zuid train station and quick access to all the main spots in the city. The staff was nice and welcoming. The bed was comfortable.

Dangerous location, my car was broken into a block from the hotel! DONT PARK IN THE STREETS, PAY FOR PARKING ON A SAFE PLACE.

The stairs are very steep and narrow. I did not need them, but the landing was narrow, and obstructed by the stairs, making passing with a walking aid difficult.
Room, basic but comfortable. It had the shower I needed (not a bath tub). Close to the lift which is what I needed (not a quiet room as stated above.. Bed. Reasonable height, but too soft mattress.. Location ideal for this occasion. Walking distance from the Midi Station which was ideal, as I had been been held back in Brussels by the cancellation of Eurostar service in 30 December. I was lucky to get the last room. There was an excellent steakhouse just round the corner for my evening meal. The breakfast was not special, but perfectly adequate and räsonable value at 9€ per person.
