It is and also feels like a cheap hotel. You get what you paid for and that’s fine but the surroundings are dangerous. Try not to walk around the North Station after 9 pm, and if you do it, just know that you will feel threatened by groups of guys that hang near by.

Electrical sockets fall out of the wall. There were no curtains in the bathroom, so at night anyone can see in. The room wasn't very clean. Hair dryer didn't work

Shower did not work, the hose was old and almost fully disconnected from the shower head so the water was barely flowing. And the water was cold. Squeaky beds.

The destination is great for the price, we walked basically everywhere. Nice personal available 24/7.

DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU ARE FROM THE UNITED STATES (Overweight). Every room is up tiny stairs. not foot space.... There was so much hair from past guest in our room. It's not near anything except the nord train station. It's so dang close to a homeless camp. Yiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiikes. We yeeted ourselves out of there and didn't do the full stay.

In the first night we had a problem with the temperature in the room...it was very cold,but we asked for help and the problem solved.. Unstable wifi.

They need to clean better, there were many hair in the bathroom and also a few inside of the bed when you take the blanket.

The staff were very friendly, 24 hours reception so it was secure, close to North station, this side of the city we didn´t like to much because it was many homeless people, and the around of the station dirty, but you have a police station close, and walking to the center was 15 minutes.

Everything, the room was filthy we arrived and we had no towels and the room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for months, the shower was broken and would leak from the room above us, me and my partner have been travelling for 6 months staying in majority budget hotels and hostels and this place is easily the worst place we have stayed in, was so noisy so sleeping was impossible, after not having towels when we got there they came into our room after one night and took all our towels leaving us one towel which just made no sense, if we were there for any longer then 2 nights we would of packed up and left early it was that bad, wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy

COMPLAINTS ABOUT THE ROOM: My first minor complaint I have about the room is there were no hooks to hang my coat or jacket and so I had to resort to hanging them in the wardrobe. However, there were also no hooks in the Bathroom to hang the towel and I could not drape it over the radiator in preparation for when I left the shower because the radiator was a distance away from the shower. My second complaint about the room is I could smell cigarette smoke and as a non smoker, I appreciate that I am quite sensitive to this odour. I believe there is a non smoking policy in the hotel but I couldn't be bothered about complaining but it is a fire hazard. I left the window open throughout the day and this removed that but this may cause problems to you during the cold weather.

ROOM: My room was at the very top of the hotel, in the attic. I had to walk 6 flights of stairs. There is no lift so if you are not good on your feet, choose another hotel. My room was spacious, clean and offered free WiFi, a TV. Bed was very comfortable. There was a daily cleaning service and also fresh towels. STAFF: All the Staff were BRILLIANT. I could not fault any of them. LOCATION: Some reviews complained of a questionable location and a sense of being unsafe but it isn't. There is a book keeper nearby and a few times, I saw a few people hanging around outside but they are non threatening and keep themselves to themselves and don't interfere with others. The hotel is near a beautiful public park, Jardin Botanique de Bruxelles and business district with other hotels scattered around. The train station to take you to and from the airport is just over 5 minutes walk away and there are a few small good quality, well stocked supermarkets within a 5 minute radius. There is a very good, smart, modern mall with known branded shops inside, in addition to very good cafes and eateries. The area in and around the hotel is clean, though there is some pavement roadworks in the nearby area but this will only improve the area once the works have been completed. NOISE: The hotel is generally quiet but the streets outside can be a little noisy but this is because Brussels is a noisy city; there are always lots of Police, Ambulance and Fire (?) sirens and noisy drivers.

I was expecting worst from the reviews. It did have a lot drywall water damage in the bathroom. Bathroom didn’t have tiles around the toilet totally unsanitary. Location was great near train station a lot of Arab and middle eastern food stores and restaurants near the area. A 10 min line bike ride to the center . If they did a few repairs it would be a lot better
