Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThere was no bar downstairs, which would give the hotel a nice focal point. Consequently little atmosphere in reception.
The location is great, literally 5 minutes walk from the station and easy walk of 15 minutes to the centre. Room was really comfortable, bed was great, very quiet and peaceful. Lovely bathroom, nice breakfast.

Handy location for the train station and the metro station, about a 20 minute walk to the old town. The room was nice and clean and the staff were really helpful and friendly.

United KingdomPillows were incredibly uncomfortable. We were a group of six and all agreed they were far too hard. Ensuite bathroom doors are transparent and the bedroom mirror is exactly inline between bathroom and bed. So it's almost impossible not to have full visibility of your partner on the toilet.
Clean, quiet.

BelgiumSurprisingly average breakfast. Though in middle of Belgium only most common 'breakfast cheese'. Starngely arranged room (small and badly organized cabinet while large unsused (an unusable) space in other part of the room. Front desk does not always look carefully for garage entrance (they need to manually open two doors, and if they don't, you gets tuck between the two blocking they path of the other garage)
Good view from floor 6. Spacious bathroom.

GermanyA bit expensive for what you get. Theres little surface area in the room to put stuff on, and the beds were not very stable or fixable. A water kettle in the room would have been nice. The doors do not have rubber lining to isolate the noise from outside and reduce the sound of the doors closing. The area downstairs to sit and work a bit or send some emails is poor and uncomfortable despite the fact that there’s a lot of underused space in the lobby. Coffee vending machine has terrible coffee.
Quick and practical staff, great location, clean and comfortable.

United StatesThere's no mini fridge in room, no hot water kettle, no tea nor coffee in room. Vending machine for coffee is a little unaccomodating for hotel guests. Coat hooks in bathroom will be useful too. The TV program based wifi could be difficult to navigate.
We love the hotel accommodation especially the private parking. Location is quite central with easy walking to attractions.

NetherlandsCertainly a major improvement point is the lack of complementary coffee and tea in the room. I know I may sound like a spoiled brat, but I really can't remember being in a hotel recently that doesn't provide that. Of course you can go down to the reception desk and get a cup of coffee from a self-service coffee machine for 2 euro, but that really feels a bit too much after you paid 200 euro for a night. Another small thing to improve would be to put hangers in the bathroom, to put towels while yo are taking shower.
Nice and modern hotel in the center of Antwerp. We booked a standard double room which was very clean and comfortable, with good beds and nice bathroom. Our room was facing the street, which is big and can get a bit noisy, but was manageable, at least during our stay. The hotel staff was very kind and professional. Overall a pleasant stay.
