The check-in was from 16.00 which was the latest I saw within several years (most hotels have a check-in at 14-14.30, maximum 15.00), so I had to walk almost half a day with my bags. Breakfast was ok, but the choice could be more for that hotel price.

The room was nice and clean, there was a fridge and a teapot in the room.

The mattresses were way too soft for me, and the bathroom could be better arranged. There was no locked luggage storage, and even though the staff was nice about it, it felt unsafe to leave bags out in the open in the bar area.

Affordable (at least compared to other hotels in Brussels on the days I visited), clean place, with a nice breakfast. Easy to reach as well, with meal/store options nearby. Works perfectly if you just want an OK place for the night.

The furnishings could be a little more attention to detail and comfy.

I got a free upgrade and the room was huge and spread over two floors. The bathroom was also a nice size. The furnishings were more functional than comfortable or chic, but perfectly adequate for a long weekend. The location was also quite central and well connected to public transport. The team was very friendly and always helpful.

The room was noisy. The sound isolation of the window was not so good, so noise from the street can be heard at night. The door was a disaster, there was big gap all around the door, so not only noise from the hallway could be heard (a lot of doors shutting at night), but also light was coming in. Never saw such bad quality door isolation, even in lower rated hotels. The bed and the pillows were not confortabile, too soft.

Breakfast was good. Location was nice, near the metro/tram, you can even walk to the city center (20 min walk). The room was clean. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Room was big.

The only thing I didn't like was the bed. The beds we were in were not comfortable at all. It's two twin beds put together with a tiny mattress on top of the twin beds mattresses. The problem is that you are sinking all the time, and I guess one of the mattress is too old cause it's very uneven. Perhaps some investment here could be done.

The hotel is quite like what you'd expect at this price point, probably better than many at the same price. Some bonuses are that the bathroom is amazing, really spacious! My room was also quite good in size. Then the location is actually fantastic, you are in a nice area very connected to the center, but secluded enough to not be bothered. Great restaurants around. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but HUGE plus that it runs until 11am.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t the cleanest, some of the towels did have stains on them. Also, the building is quite old and could use some remodeling.

The location of the hotel is quite central and it has really good bus connections. The staff was quite friendly and assertive. Finally, the room had good central heating and hot water all the time.

second room was too small

The hotel has two building i stayed 3 days in a first build that allocated on the edge (curve of street) the room was so great, very comfortable, wide and bed was so comfortable. and due to strong storm i had to extend my stay so they moved me to the other building (next to the first one by 2 building) the new room was almost with same price but it was too small and less comfortable than the first one, bathroom was too small. however, the hotel location was perfect and next time i will make sure to reserve in the first building :)

My second time here. This must tell it all :-) Flexible service - I arrived early but was able to get my room at 11:30. Friendly staff. Great location, clean room, high class bed and linen. Good heating on a chilly January night. Nice lights.
