Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The room was very pretty, comfortable and clean. The room was very quiet too and we slept like babies. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The position was also very central, close to every public transportation and a lot to do by foot.

location and views weren't great but the centre is crowded so what do you expect.
Nice breakfast, clean rooms. Even a free upgrade. Nice place.

I really don't like the bright pink and green shower / shampoo gels, they make the place look cheap.
The rooms are great, spacious and clean.

Very good hotel, nice place close to center, close to shops, but not a crowded area. If rent a car, it is easy to find a parking place close to the hotel after the working hours.

I’ve had multiple stays here and I’ve never been disappointed, everything is up to standard and the hotel is within a short walking distance to city & connected to metro/bus/tram lines

Very noisy personal. Better in Norway were i can enjoy breakfast in quiet surroundings, not like in this hotel. The cook, breakfastpersonell and reception came to the restaurant to tell jokes to eachother and laugh so loud that i find it inappropriate to the guests

Got a quiet big room at the back of the building. It was clean. The bathroom was slightly outdated but very clean so never mind. Comfortable bed. Did not eat breakfast at the hotel.

The toilet had an unpleasant smell may be due to no ventilation in the family room.
Great stay ! Super helpful and friendly staff. Great location easy to get around the city. Beautiful hotel busy plenty events going on.

I would have liked to have seen some more local dishes on the menu. When I visit a foreign country I like to experience the culture. I foudn the menu to be a little bit generic
The staff at the hotel were excellent. The hotel is located in a nice area walkable distance to all the main attractions. Our room was really nice. Spacious and modern with a huuuge bed and luxury bathroom suite. The hotel bar is lovely and has some great staff. The dinning menu was limited but sufficient after a late check in.

No plastic bags in the rubbish bin (both in room & bathroom) felt a little strange. I didn't want to throw my empty salad box because I felt like I was making the rubbish bin more dirty.
Room was bigger than I expected. Very clean. Good location.

Bathrooms might look a bit old.
Excellent location close to the EU institutions and the business life of the city as well as the main shopping street. Staff is professional and nice. Rooms are very big. I have been even upgraded without asking. Breakfast is very good with a lot of variety and good quality food. Plenty of space to relax in a nice and relax environment.

The bathroom door is transparent, lacking privacy in a way.
Staffs were polite and helpful. Spacious family room with big bathroom, functional bathtub and separate toilet.

The bathroom only had a bath tub, didn't had a shower. I almost needed to take a shower in the tub kneeling because my head would be touching the upper shower. It would be appreciated if the hotel would ask what people prefer when it comes to the bathroom and if there is any availability for it, offer that to the customers.
I really enjoyed the hotel location, it's decoration, it's confort, the bar! I also enjoyed the breakfast very much, with lots of food options! Rodrigo and Filipe at the front desk were great!

Was very generously upgraded to a large family sized room without asking. Hotel was chosen by my employer and I can see why. Met every one of my needs and had kind staff. Conveniently located next to the tram stop, adjacent to night shop and delivery services and has an excellent bar / restaurant on the ground floor. Many thanks for making a business trip enjoyable!
