Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The double bed was just two separate mattresses with a gap between them. The mattresses were rather soft, the pillows were too high to our liking.
Friendly and helpful staff, great location, good breakfast. Everything was really clean.

Breakfast was a bit hit & miss. There was a large group in early and they practically cleared all the food - there was a limited amount of food for anyone in after 8am
The location was ideal. So easy to get into the centre and great for the railway station

I think the breakfast could be better knowing it's a 4-star hotel. It was very basic and every day the same.
We stayed for 3 nights with a baby. We really like the location. Whenever we needed to ba back at the hotel, it was a short walk from the center. From woman perspective, I like there was a normal hairdryer in the bathroom ;)

Stefan at the reception was cheerful, helpful and very welcoming. Very large spacious rooms. We were a family of three. The rooms layout was like an apartment with hall area and separate bedrooms. Superb breakfast. The breakfast area is very nice. Lots of space, wide lobbies, plenty of seating in reception, nice decor. This is no less than a Five Star hotel.

The rooms are quite basic there was a dressing table but no mirror above it because the tv was there some wardrobes have a full length mirror inside the door but some don’t these are minor we found work around and this is now our go to hotel we always stay here.
The property is situated in a lovely square so it’s ideal for dinner if you arrive late and /or drinks on the way back to your hotel. The rooms are clean modern and the beds are super comfy. The communal areas are beautifully decorated and the staff are super helpful

I would have liked a iron and ironing board, I assumed that would have been in the room, so I didnt iron my clothes before packing.
The location was great, we walked straight out into a bustling market, which was right next to our carpark, shower was lovely with shampoo and soap there for us to use.

There is nothing to dislike. But I will point out that the room is minimalist in its decor and may look boring to some perhaps; but besides sleeping and getting ready I don't spend much time inside the hotel room when I travel so it doesn't bother me at all!
GREAT location in a quiet area far enough away from the noise across the square but close enough to go anywhere without trouble. My family of 3, 2 adults and 1 teen child, were greeted at Reception by a very knowledgable gentleman. He not only checked us in quickly but provided us with a map marking the hotel and gave us his tips for sightseeing and personal recommendations - which we took and were not disappointed! I kept this map with me at all times and thought it so nice that we crossed paths with the best city ambassador one could ever hope for as a first time visitor! The beds are comfy. The shower feels fantastic. Toiletries are included. The room was clean and quiet. We didn't eat the hotel breakfast for an additional fee since we had other plans, so I can't comment to that. Check out was quick and easy. Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Brugge!
