Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomRoom could be upgraded with better shower, but it was perfectly fine
Perfect location at the edge of the city centre - just far enough away from the noise. Loved the area... very cool. Nice clean room with everything we needed although it was a little worn in places. Wasn't a problem though.

GermanyPhotos are quite touched up, the room seemed a bit outdated and not in best condition, but for price and location perfectly fine.
Perfect location and very friendly staff! A great advantage was also the parking area right on site.

NetherlandsAs with many Brussels hotels, the outside looks fairly modern but the inside is a bit tired and in need of updating.
It was an area I had not stayed before but was pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and the number of restaurants nearby (the hotel doesn't have one). Nice breakfast area and selection.

South AfricaWeird smell in the apartment. Felt a bit stuffy inside so we mostly opened the windows to also get rid of that smell.
Great location. Near a metro and a quick 10 minute walk to the Grand Place. Free coffee inside the hotel was also a nice touch.

United KingdomThere was a bit of mould on the window wall behind the curtain
It is a great location, close to Metro (though we walked everywhere) shops, cafes, restaurants and historic sites. The room was spacious and had a small kitchen at one end with microwave, fridge, dishwasher, kettle and toaster that appeared to be brand new. The bed was very comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. There was a coffee machine in the comfortable lounge area.

NetherlandsAlthough the studio was very spacious, the layout is a bit strange (T-shaped) and it was kind of dark. It is possible to leave your luggage in the hotel after checkout, but be aware that althoug the room is locked (the staff will unlock the door for you), you have to place/take your luggage yourself. In other words: no one will check whose luggage you're taking or what you're doing in that room, which is something you should keep in mind when storing luggage here.
The studio we stayed in was very spacious, with a separate sleeping and living / working room section. The kitchen is well equipped and has everthing that you need. The hotel is located in a nice neighbourhood, with next door a bio-supermarket with a lot of glutenfree options, and many restaurants around for every type of budget. The metro station is just in front of the hotel, and it's only a short walk to the city centre. You can get free tea, coffee and water from the seating area behind the reception, which was great.

GermanyIt is a small thing but in the corridor was somewhat unpleasant smell. But it did not impact our stay.
It is really good and easy to reach location. A small kitchenette is a really good idea for those who stay a bit longer. Free coffee in the lobby is a really nice gesture.
