We were a family of 5 and got two rooms. Requested rooms close and got that requested. Rooms were well kept and cleaned well. Great location, we walked into the centre every day. Great access to trains etc for visiting Bruges & Ghent also. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The surrondings of the property was a bit odd, with homeless people and many garbage hanging around the streets. Sometimes we saw rats running on the streets.

It was a well-tended little hotel, the beds were comfy and the bathroom was quite nice too. It was perfect for out short term stay at Brussels with a reasonable price

The area is deserted after dark, you can access the hotel on foot either by a small road at the side of the park (Botanique) or by a short tunnel. But the taxi from the centre is the minimum rate (8 €) so you can use a taxi at night. The bathroom smells bad as other guests mentioned although it was rennovated and very clean, inadequate ventilation I guess.

Very well connected with public transport, easy access from airport, walking distance from main attractions. Room at the 6th floor was simple but clean and comfortable. Reasonable price ( for Brussels).

Our triple room was seemingly "ungraded" to a basement staff "flat" smelt of sewage when we walked in but improved when we flushed toilet. No bedside lamp in the 2nd bedroom. Very inaccessible. Toilet was tiny and person staying in living room was woken by staff talking and smoking nearby.

One of the beds was very comfortable. Bedding was all clean. TV worked and there was plenty of hot water.

It is an older hotel, so the bathroom especially the shower-tub is an older model and not that great. The bed linens were torn, there was dirt in the bathroom and my mattress had issues but after talking to the reception, all of this was fixed. The drainage in the bathroom was slow but expected from past reviews.

The single is a nice, simple, down to the bones room, but good enough if you're in Brussels to see the sights and not the hotel. It's an okay place to stay for 2, maybe 3 nights maximum. It's not far from Bruxelles-Nord Train station. The night staff was nice and accommodating. And the day staff did fix my complaints about the room, bed and cleanliness.

Staff were disinterested and lacklustre. Felt like they were just going through the motions and were not friendly at all. No greetings or anything. Such a shame when the property has very few other redeeming qualities.

Family rooms were surprisingly large, plenty of space for 4 people and bags etc. Proximity to Brussels Nord and central shopping area. Price good for European standards.

The bathroom was too small, and the sink also. We didn't like that the cleaner had folded the used towels and left them to reuse again even though we had let them to change.
