Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeDuring room cleaning only the bed was made up, everything else remained untouched. We didn't ask for the towels to be changed, that's perfectly fine, but the ones lyign on the bed were bundled wet on one of the seats and any dirty cups were not removed.
We truly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice. The rooms are very good too. The location in Peer is easily reachable yet in the centre of Peer. There were lots of activities in the city the weekend that we were there.

Great looking and very comfortable hotel in the town center. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was exceptionally delicious and had good portion sizes. Breakfast also was completely stocked with hot and cold options, eggs bacon cereals breads etc. Overall, an excellent choice !

LithuaniaI have arrived late, around 22.00-22.15 I was ringing a bell in reception for 10-15 minutes, and was getting afraid that nobody would come and finally from the restaurant nearby the waiter/receptionist showed up. Underground garage is filthy, full of some garbage, old furniture leftovers, some renovation garbage/leftovers.
Excellent breakfast.

United KingdomBecause of the one-way road system in Peer it was difficult finding the hotel - even our sat nav couldn’t cope! We paid extra to use the hotel’s underground car park which was good and quite spacious, but rather tight getting down there - a 4x4 wouldn’t make it!
The staff were extremely helpful - we were late arriving due to bad traffic, but we phoned ahead and the staff were very understanding. We had an excellent evening meal in the restaurant, and breakfast was also very good with plenty of choice. Our room was very spacious with a seating area and good shower room - the bed was extremely comfortable!

BelarusThe staff at this hotel is truly amazing. I initially thought I had booked a suite with a bathtub, but it turned out that suites come either with a shower or a bathtub. During check-in, I asked if there was a possibility to switch, but unfortunately, all suites were fully booked at that moment. However, just an hour after we checked in, the receptionist kindly approached us and offered to move us to another suite with a bathtub, as a last-minute cancellation had made it available. This level of attentiveness and service truly made our stay exceptional!

SwitzerlandVery much a detail and a matter of personal taste, but the music during breakfast felt out of place for the setting – a rather loud mix of banal, house-style pop. A more subdued choice, like lounge or classical music, would have been more fitting and enjoyable.
Nice, comfortable and modern hotel in the heart of the small town of Peer. We were warmly welcomed by the staff of the restaurant next door and served a quality meal notwithstanding the calm period of the year. This restaurant is situated in the old town hall, where also the breakfast is served. Our room was modern and stylish, with comfy beds and a cosy fireplace. Parking places, even non-paying, are closeby and easy to find. Price-quality this was a great choice for our small family.

United StatesLocation of the parking garage. The sign and the directions can be more obvious. The hotel receptionists sometimes work as waitresses in the hotel restaurant, so requests were not always fulfilled. The hotel room needs more lights to work.
The hotel is located in the center of the town, which is convenient for shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants. However, parking is a bit confusing because the parking garage is on the back of the hotel. The room is very spacious and clean.

United KingdomI found the one-way streets challenging. On Sunday one was cordoned off! I had to go round and round to try to find the entrance to the garage. The garage entrance was narrow and very steep. Not ideal.
A lovely quiet room. A comfortable bed. Breakfast and meals were good.

United KingdomThis is a wonderful hotel in the quiet and picturesque town of Peer. The welcome after a wet day of cycling was very kind and warm, which was really appreciated. The whole hotel was immaculate and the room really comfortable. Secure parking for our bikes was available in the carpark under the hotel free of charge too. Breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant which is in the beautiful old town hall building in front of the hotel. The decor, atmosphere and selection of breakfast items were great. The restaurant is also open for evening meals and there are a lot of other options within walking distance to eat and drink. We would have loved to have stayed longer, but we were on a cycling holiday and had to move on. We would gladly return!
