Shower broken. Holes in towels. No car park.

Shower broken in bedroom . Holes in towels. Car park closed because it was under construction. Hotel staff very understanding and provided a full refund after 1 night stay.

Although stated in facilities line up, there was no Tea/Coffee maker in single room & no kettle in double room. There were long hairs left on side of bath from previous visitors and the plug for the face wash basin was completely covered in gunk and hairs. Balcony attached to single room, littered with cigarette butts. No volume control for television. No lights in corridors at night, making it very difficult to see or find the keyhole for room door.

Reception Manager very attentive and addressed or attempted to address any issues immediately.

Only issue I had was the shower didn't work.

Whoever the young man was at the desk who took me deserves a raise, my card was declined and he helped me contact my bank and was patient during the fact it took me about an hour to sort it all out. Beds are comfy and the room was large and amazing, overall brilliant hotel and leads up to it's rating most definetly.

I didn’t like the colors of the walls in the rooms. For parking you need to pay extra to the hotel

Good and comfort hotel. Also we were the only gusts at the time, they gave us everything in breakfast in very nice dining room

The hotel is just a bit shabby and many details in the room are missing, f.e. good bed light (to weak to read a book) and something to put your towel on besides the sink.

Very kind staff and a nice big room.

The room was slightly "tired" and could do with updating. No kettle in room (had gone AWOL), wash basin drain plug didn't work and ceiling fan missing a blade. Otherwise okay!

Staff were very helpful and location very central.

the fact that your advertising mentioned a bar and restaurant and we arrived to find that they were closed this was a disappointment as we chose this hotel for that reason they no longer have a bar or restaurant and this should be mentioned to avoid other people been disappointed as we were .This did not reflect on the staff who not have more helpful

the staff were very friendly and helpful.the rooms were clean

Sadly, we stayed during a seemingly unusual heatwave and the hotel did not have air-conditioning. We were given a fan thankfully. This is the only reason for the lower comfort rating.

The superb staff made up for any deficiencies with the facilities.

Getting there was not easy, many streets are blocked and it looks it will be like that for a while. The receptionist said they hear this all the time; why not provide standard advice to customers who have booked?

    Clean, large room, hot shower

You do need to book a parking spot in their car park if you can, since spaces on the street are very hard to find.

The rooms are clean and spacious, while staff are friendly and attentive. The quality of the building and furnishings are high, and the food is of a very high standard.
