It's always a pleasure to come back to this B&B and meet the owners Beatrice and Bruno. They are very kind with all guests and prepare a delicious breakfast. The home-made gems are a real treat! The bed is very comfortable and it's so very quiet so you can have a wonderful relaxing sleep. The small living room it's a cosy area with free coffee and teas. In the fridge you can always found (for a reasonable price) a cold local beer or juice. The village itself is lovely. The wi-fi functioned with no problems.

Booking for three in two rooms means you are charged fro four breakfasts). This could easily be amended.

The village is well off the beaten track! The building is old but you wouldn't believe it. Very modern fittings and decor, and comfortable rooms.

    Nothing comes to mind.

We were warmly welcomed at this property with little easter eggs and advice on where we should go for dinner. The room was lovely and clean, so was the bathroom. We had a good night's sleep. Breakfast was lovely, with homemade goodies (jams, yoghurts, juice) and very good coffee. Falaen is a very quaint little village - perfect for walks through the streets.

There was nothing we didn't like (except for the exchange rate at the moment!)

The best things were: - the location, in a pretty and very quiet village, with some very pleasant walks close by - the room was attractive and had a very comfortable bed - the breakfasts with lots of good homemade produce

Bathroom (toilet) is not visually separated from the rest of the room. I was alone so it wasn't a problem but if you are there as a couple some might see that as an issue.

Perfect location, superbly maintained, very friendly welcome!

The trail map is not totally clear...especially the route back from the Ruines du Chateau Montaigle. The trails through the countryside are totally worth taking...just ask for clarification on that one trail!

An outstanding B&B experience! The hosts were great, providing us with delicious breakfasts made from fresh local products, and giving us great tips for cute little restaurants in the area, even going so far as booking the restaurants for us to ensure we were not caught without meals. They also provided us with excellent tips for hikes around the beautiful Belgian countryside that surrounds this quaint little village.

It would have been nice to have WiFi in the room.

We Just got back, and spent a night at B&B L'Echappée Belle. We had perfect room and bathroom. Everything was clean and they were very helpfull. Our breakfast was even made auto earlier because we had to leave. We hope to come back one day.

A tradditional property with a contemporary modern interior. Spacious bedroom with a hugh , comfy bed and wetroom/ bathroom with great lighting and mirrors. Top quality fittings and linen. Contempory interior but character remains. Great guest lounge with well stocked SMEG fridge offering a range of ice cold local Belgium beer. Fresh coffee and range of teas also available. Very friendly and helpful owners, superb, modern facilities but cosy at the same time. It was good to be able to use a private lounge with a fully stocked drinks fridge - some great beer! Beautiful village and surroundings.
