The only flaw was perhaps the small kitchenette in our studio apartment. We didn't cook, but if we had perhaps we wouldn't have been thrilled. The kitchen was really old.

The room, although a little old-fashioned, was truly gigantic, clean and equipped with all comforts. The bathroom and shower were the best part for us, I have never seen such a large and clean shower. We are used to traveling a lot and the bathrooms are always the worst part of our stays because they are not easy to maintain, especially if they have no windows and humidity stagnates in the room.

The room needs several improvements. It is only po ssible to connect the ketle to boil water by disconnecting either the fridge, or a lamp and putting the ketle on the floor! The ketle is a plastic cheap gaget it is impossible to fill a mug without spilling water all over. The wash basin in the bathroom has a very wide sink opening but no plug, this meaning that anything dropped by accident while washing will be swalled into the sink. Soap is not available near the wash basin, it must be collected with the hands, from the shower cabin! The fridge temperature is almost room temperature. The door to the balcony can only be opened/ closed by an athletic person (a strong employee had to do it for me). A pair of slippers is indispensable, yet it is not supplied, which is not acceptable for this price. I needed a spoon but there is none in the room. This extreme money saving policy practiced has a very negative impact on guests comfort.

Excellent location next to Barlaymont and Metro station. Helpful and pleasant personnel.

The hotel is based in the EU district, so not in the main old centre of Brussels but it was very near the metro, which makes it so easy to go anywhere.

There are no contents such as slippers, coffee machine, minibar, which become standard in modern hotels. Renovation is needed if you want to keep this price level. Also, the room is not too warm, but let assume that the reason for this is global energy saving in EU related to disruptions in supply chains due to the war in Ukraine.

The room is spacious and clean, breakfast is correct, the location is good due to the proximity of the EU institutions where I had a meetings, as well as easy access to the City Center and the airport thanks to the railway and metro stations that are close to the hotel.

Due to flight delays my dad arrived before me and they wouldn't let him check in until payment is done - probably my mistake as I thought I selected immediate payment when booking. But they had my bank details via booking.com so payment would have been made either way, I couldn't understand the nonflexible of the staff even though I have messaged them to explain the situation and that I will pay as soon as I arrive (it was an away weekend gift for my dad so I didn't want him to pay for anything) 😞

Really good location, right next to the metro/train station and Cinquantenaire Park. Kitchen facilities was also good, we could made dinner 😁. The room was very spacious.

It is a good hotel but it could be better, for a 4star hotel. The building is old and needs to be renovated. There is no coffee machine in the room. The coffee sachets were never replaced.

Great location, next to the European Commission. Very convenient for 2 day business trip. Very spacious rooms, but some facilities (like cooking facilities), that I have no idea who's using. Heating with air-condition in the room, no heating in the bathroom. Very kind people working at reception. Beautiful inner yard (nice view from the room balcony).

We were a bit shocked when the receptionist (that wasn't very nice for the check in) told us we had to park in the street and that their garage was reserved for the suites clients In the room we only found 1 towel and 1 bathrobe ... We were 2 so we shared as we didn't want to ask the receptionist We had planned a hot bath with my fiancée as we don't like to party for the new year. The water wasn't hot enough to let us run a bath The sofa was so uncomfortable as when you sit in it the base parts come out and you end up sitting on the rails in just a few minutes

We loved the attention of putting a cat litter in our room as we were coming with our cat and dog We loved that the street felt safe
